For people who have never used the DPL procedure in beauty salons, it will be hard to believe that this light really rejuvenates. I did not naively believe in the advertisement of this product, I know from my own experience what the DPL procedure is. That is why I immediately hurried to buy this thing, knowing that salon procedures are not cheap. The only risk was whether these light flashes were real or fake. Luckily, no. After two weeks of use, I have an even, light, and glowing skin tone on my whole face. Two small pigment spots disappeared. I am also fighting with two big pigment spots on my cheeks. They are already fading.

Can see zero difference- using 3x weekly. No reduction in red, zero change in my brown spots. Got for Xmas and should have saved the $.

First, let’s just go ahead and acknowledge the price. At $529.00 at the time of this review, no doubt, this device is expensive. However, It does offer innovative technology, in the form of a very easy to device that makes self administering, salon style skin care treatments quick, easy and convenient. It is very nice to be able treat my skincare issues at home anytime that I please. That being said, I would be very upset to spend this kind of money on a device and have it not produce any significant results. With a device of this nature, it is important for the user to have realistic expectations, but the device should also deliver noticeable improvements as promised. Understanding that results are going to require consistent use over an extended period of time, this initial review will focus on first impressions and ease of use. Considering the significant investment required, I have put a reminder on my calendar to come back and update this review in a couple of months with an honest evaluation of my long term usage results. As stated, I am primarily using the redness mode to treat capillary redness on my cheeks and the power mode to treat some individual dark spots and a few post inflammatory hyperpigmentation spots. I won’t lie…I was a little bit intimidated to use the device at first. I was afraid of discomfort or it leaving burn marks on my skin. My fears were unfounded and I am experiencing none of those. It’s actually extremely easy and completely comfortable to use. The packaging most definitely reflects the high end nature of the device. It comes packaged in a sturdy, black leatherette hinged box that looks chic and feels luxurious. The device itself is a gun shaped tool that fits comfortably in the hand. It is easy to control and buttons are placed conviently on the sides of the wand so that it easy to cycle through the modes seamlessly during use. It is not cordless but I understand that cordless would not be ideal given the power needed to run the device. The cord is not an issue since it is plenty long enough to reach an outlet and have plenty of slack to work worth. As for initial usage, the device does feel like it is doing something. My skin is responding well to treatments and I am encouraged enough with the treatments to continue with it long term. I am taking extra care to power the device down properly as the instructions stress that this is important to ensure the longevity’s of the device. I’m giving 4 stars for now and if it performs as promised after longer use, I will be glad to give a full 5 stars. If there are no real results or the device konks out and quits working, a downgrade will be given considering the investment that is required. For now, I feel very positively about it and am very encouraged to continue use.

I received what appeared to be an open box or used item. The protective wrap looked like it had been taken off previously or not put on correctly on the device and the box. It appeared in good shape, but I feel it was at least a returned item but was listed as new. I contacted the seller about this and never heard back. I have only been using the device for about a week so I can’t speak to long term results yet. It is comfortable to use and the cooling tip works. I haven’t experienced any irritation during or after use. It’s quick to use. My face takes about 3 minutes to treat. I use the glasses that came with it but also close my eyes when I push the flash button. The directions aren’t the most clear as far as using the different modes and the frequency - for example should I use only one mode each time or can I use multiple for the different issues. I also sometimes accidentally push the button to change the mode instead of the flash button because it’s very sensitive and in the same position just on the opposite side of the device. My main concerns are redness (flushing and broken capillaries) and some dark spots. I have light skin tone with dry and sensitive skin. I will update after longer use but I’m removing stars for the apparent condition of the product and lack of response from the seller.

I love this, I got it maybe more than a week ago and already im in love. Its so easy and efficient. I love the fact that you can put the settings on auto and you dont have to press the button 100 times. It already made one of my bigger acne scars look smaller than what it was and I cant wait to see how much better it'll get the more I use it. It's cool too the touch yet powerful. Very worth it!!

Didn’t care for this product at all. Very expensive and didn’t live up to the hype. Emailed the company numerous times and got nothing in return. I ended up returning the product.

Obviously this is very expensive, BUT I do get professional laser treatments at a facility and so in the end the cost of this one time, for basically endless treatments at home is still considerably a good deal. Of course, there are limitations with performing this treatment at home, but it is great to have access to the technology. It is very clear on this being made specifically for the face and to target skin care but I do raise the question of why this cannot be used in other areas (aside from the inside of the arm for test shots and why it cannot also target hair removal) - I would love to believe that it easily could be a function of both but only time will tell. There is a contradiction in the instructions when it goes over where this cannot be used versus what each level is used for… it says to refrain from acne stricken areas but then says level three is to treat acne. Read the pamphlet a few times to make your best judgement. My review currently is solely based on the quality of the product itself and function. The unit is very pretty and greatly and conveniently packaged in a beautiful storage box. Not too heavy and is comfortable to hold in hand for use. Simple and easy to operate - read the manual. I did my test shots up my inner arm and withstood the first two levels. I did burn on the last level but I did not realize until moments later. It did sting for a bit afterwards but was very bearable and the marks went away after a day or two. It was not a full on burn that scabbed over or anything but very very red - see my picture with clear red marks like a pause symbol on my arm. I will next test this out on my face to see how and what it actually does. It will be a judgement call for anyone who wishes to use this technology at home. I will try to update once I have a true review on results. Coldness does work properly BTW and is helpful. As I mentioned, I get professional treatments and when I started a couple years ago they did not have the cooling technology yet and were using a cryo type of spray or something and have now moved to using cooling fans. I know the difference in the heat level and you can tell the coolness is here and helps. My video isn’t uploading for some reason to show you the zaps, but it operates as described.

Absolutely brightened my brown spots after 4 uses. I’ve been using it on my hands as well. I have a few of jovs item and each one is superior quality.
