1. They can be whisper quiet and do a decent job; although, I'd recommend setting a fan curve for optimal balance between airflow during peak CPU utilization and quiet during light workloads. 2. They are effective at airflow and pressure making them a true jack of all trades. 3. Significantly more powerful than the 120mm fans but at the cost of a bit of noise when ramping up but bottom end is still whisper quiet. I'm currently running these in a push config on a water-cooled CPU radiator. Mind you I barely notice these fans even with open back headphones, massively better than the ones that came with the radiator.

In my Opinion the Noctua NF-A12x25 G2 are the Greatest, Performance, Quiet fans on the Market. They have the power to cool the most powerful components currently on the market while staying some of the quietest fans you can purchase. They come with vibration Pads for the front and rear of the fans, Rubber Mounting Studs, Cable extensions, and a Y-Splitter making for simple installation without having to purchase anything additional. They have only two negative issues In my opinion. The are not available in Reverse Blade configuration, and they do not have an RGB option. So if your looking for awesome Performance, and an ultra quiet PC system look no further.

Super easy to install any way you choose, I went with the rubber plugs for even quieter operation. The fans cool very well and provide a great amount of airflow at all speeds. They're incredibly quiet to the point where I cant tell if my PC is on without looking at it. The "matched" pair is nice as well, avoiding any possibility of beat frequencies. Pair with a solo fan on a 420mm radiator or for the main intakes/exhaust like I did on my H9 flow. Incredible performance out of these fans. Wish I needed more.

Great fans, high quality company, upgraded to the new g2 fans. I'm using this in a pull config for a 420mm rad and fans move air evenly over threw the rad. I used the gasket on the rad side for extra pull. There good noise level I keep them at 20% and they cool good. I have them hooked to a SATA power to 3 4 pin cable with pwm hooked to a Corsair commander core xt.

Great fans. They run quiet and do exactly what they should. Not much else to say, Noctua delivers.

Noctua makes excellent 140mm PWM fans that that very quiet, cool, and easy to setup for my new AMD PC system. I mainly use it for installing top exhaust fans to keep my system run cool while I'm editing and/or gaming. It comes with multiple accessories such as Y-splitter cable, Low-noise adapter, 4 screws, couple of rubber pads to avoid unwanted vibration, and the fan itself. Easy to install and you can always play around with the fan noise via UEFI BIOS and other 3rd party software, regardless your motherboard vendor. All in all, I love these fans and Noctua has always made high quality superior 140mm PWM fans!

Do I need to review Noctua fans? I've been using them for years. Did a new build and I appreciate this 2-pack where they will spin slightly differently to prevent the "we spin exactly the same" compounding effect. There's a name for that effect but I can't think of it right now. These are a bit expensive, but you're cooling hardware that is more expensive. I do which more screws were included. The little rubber "screw" holder things are great for preventing vibrations and vibration noise, but they don't work in all places in a case.

What's to say that hasn't already been said. Noctua are the best fans in the business, and the gen 2 fans are an incredible improvement on an already iconic unit. I have been using the 120 and 140 gen 1 fans for years and they have provided the best airflow for noise that you can get. They may be expensive, but you get every penny's worth. I've been struggling with my last 13th gen Intel build, and switching to team brown has finally solved a bunch of my thermal issues. The efficiency is so high that you can run them at lower RPMs than you would expect, but why when you can get twice the airflow for the same noise?

Best fans and most quiet fans there are.

Optik und Fazit Einzige kleine Eigenheit könnte die für Noctua typische Farbgebung sein, die durch das Braun einen eigenen Stil setzt. Für alle, die die außergewöhnliche Leistung und Verarbeitungsqualität schätzen, dürfte dies jedoch kaum ein Manko darstellen. Die A14x25 G2-Lüfter sind ideal für leistungsorientierte Builds, die eine ruhige und zuverlässige Kühlung erfordern, und ich kann sie uneingeschränkt empfehlen. These are amazing! I put these as front intake, rear exhaust and for a push-pull setup on my radiator! They push an incredible amount of air and the noise they make is a “pleasant” experience.

Si quieres tener lo mejor y que sea sin lucecitas, éstos son los mejores ventiladores. No quiero refrigeración líquida, no tenía otra opción para tener la máxima potencia siendo silenciosos y sin tener que poner los ventiladores al máximo ya que no es necesario. Quería el mayor flujo de aire con carga (gaming sobre todo) pero con los ventiladores al 50% como mucho para evitar que parezcan un avión, jaja. Así el procesador y la gráfica los mantengo más frescos. Es una gran inversión pero con una buena torre tienes ya los componentes para muchísimos años. Cuanto menos temperatura tengas, mejor trabaja todo sin que parezca el ordenador una freidora. Mucha gente compra componentes caros sin pensar bien primero en cómo va a ser la ventilación y es un error. Noctua es calidad y lleva muchos años conmigo sin defraudarme. No necesito que sean RGB para nada ya que lo que quiero es ventilación EXTREMA y que sean silenciosos. Hay gente a la que no le gustan los colores marrones pero a mí me encantan ya que conozco de sobra su rendimiento. Aun poniéndolos al máximo, claro que suenan algo porque es lógico con ese tamaño a 1500rpm. Pero la suavidad es lo importante en comparación con otras marcas. Recomiendo su compra sin ninguna duda.
