Rick Owens Jumbo Shoelaces

I thought I could use these for my DCs but unfortunately they are way too thick. The quality is nice though and if you have Rick Owens I’m sure these are perfect.

There are certain shoes, and the ones that the seller uses to illustrate these laces are of that type, that beg to have laces that "announce themselves." There's a certain funkiness about some shoes that just begs to be emphasized by a contrasting color of noticeable laces. If you have such a pair of shoes, these laces are the perfect accompaniment.They are long. They are thick and wide and strong. The color, while not bright, would stand out on any shoe. The ones that I got are a kind of sandy beige color and I have some bright blue sneakers upon which these will look great. They are of a length that would work well on high-tops, but I'm sure with some creative lacing (which is what these cry out for) they could be adjusted to fit standard low-tops. There are strong aglets on the end of the laces, so they're easy to lace into your existing shoes. If you're looking for that little bit of pop to enhance your favorite kicks, these are it!

Probably my fault but I was hoping these would fit my regular Doctor Marten 1460s. The eyelets can't accommodate the thiccness of these gloriously phatty laces. I even tried taking the aglet off and trimming back some of the lace to see if I could get them through. I was able to get a little bit through but once it hit the full bulk of the shoelace, no force in the universe was going to make it fit.Tl;dr- I'm not sure if the Rick Owens Docs have bigger eyelets or what, but I'm not able to use these laces in my regular boots.

I don't know if these are stylish these days or not, but they are really thick and long. They work perfectly for our purposes. Quality I think as well.

These shoe laces are HUGE! The quality is excellent and the lace caps are strong. Definitely worth a look if you need large shoe laces for your shoes.

Rick Owens Jumbo ShoelacesThe first thing I did was measure the length. The laces I received are 65", not the advertised 67" (170cm). But in my case that's a good thing.They're chunky and look just like the product images. I have a couple pairs of Doc Martens boots (the style is called Molly) that have big holes for laces. I got these laces specifically for those boots. I like how the laces take up so much space on the front of the boot. It gives a completely unique look. But these are much longer than my boots' eyelets need, so I have to wrap the ends around the ankle a couple of times before tying the bow. I expected this would be the case and knew it was going to be part of the look. If you have Rick Owens shoes, these are probably a perfect replacement for old laces. Not sure what other shoes these would work for. I like them.
