This pant is nice but a little small and tight at the waist.

Loved the style and initial fit. After a few washes, noticed the waist wasn’t quite as snug, but also could’ve lost a little weight/waist size. I’ve often been a difficult fit for bottoms as without elastic, some brands and styles fit differently.I carry my weight more in my butt and thighs than most men, imagine a defensive end’s build in football (NA); thick, wide and husky head to toe.The legs fit well, sometimes I wish they were tighter to hold their position and show of my calves.The thigh fit for me became tighter towards the crotch, comfortable but limited some of my mobility looking back.They have a complimenting taper though I’d consider going a size lower in length to get fewer “stacks” in the legs.My biggest drawback is because of my work, involving lots of squatting and walking, the crotch seam towards my rear actually split. Not uncommon for me,had this pair for almost a year, just wear & tear at this point.If casually worn with not too ‘involved’ movements, I totally recommend!For the price, I don't advise these for work if you walk more than 5-7 miles a day doing lunges and squatting throughout.I plan on getting my altered and repaired as the look is great, liked the ankle pulls for tighter holds, the pockets look good and also the belt loops were a bit smaller than some of my other pants, but compliments nonetheless.Best of luck 👍🏾

Love the fit as they are straight fit yet roomy with all the pockets. My favorite pair for outdoor activities yet so casual for special events too.

Perfect fit

It's comfortable, stylish and practical. This is my 4th set of pants during 3 years and I really love them.

One my fourth pair, I wear them until they rip, normally on the seat/inside leg. They last about a year each (worn 3-4 times a week), and I think that's good value, given that they are comfortable and have some stretch to the fabric. I'm sure a pair of thicker cotton cargo trousers would last longer but they wouldn't be so accommodating of a large lunch or heavy weekend away :-) I wear them dog walking, pub walking and of course dog+pub walking. Lots of pockets, so many in fact you will find yourself doing the house key "Haka" on a regular basis. Yes, the trousers arrived with balled up legs to save on storage and transport costs, all good for the environment. You could iron them, or alternatively wear them for a few hours and they sort themselves out. If you are planning to wear them straight away - maybe for a cheese and wine reception - I'd allow for ironing time, and also reconsider your definition of "smart casual"

These are really great combats it's just a shame someone had the idiotic idea to tightly roll the legs up as far as the knees making them wrinkled beyond belief. No amount of ironing gets rid of the wrinkles so I'm hoping washing them will fix them. Just doesn't make sense; there's distressed and then there's crumpled up like a paper bag.Great quality, great fit (although the waist is a little loose) but loses a star for the dumb packing.

I liked my first pair ("dune beige") so much I bought a second in "dark bronze green" and they arrived as photographed... as if someone had just taken them off in a hurry and thrown them back into a bag with dirt still on the inside of the leg despite them being sold by Amazon as "New" and not Amazon Warehouse "Used" item. I tried them on anyway and they seemed to be much smaller than my first pair despite both being a size 31 waist 30 length just different colours.

These are fantastic combat trousers. Unfortunately amazons packaging team have not got a clue how to repackage items once they have been tried on by someone else. I have ordered numerous pairs of these and every pair have arrived with both the legs of the trousers tied in massive knots. This makes the trousers useless. The creases in the trousers are so bad they are unwearable. PLEASE AMAZON, STOP DOING THIS. For the price they are, its totally unacceptable

These are well made and comfortable pants. I'm a 36 waist and 34 leg and find that they are a little too big around the waist, the length is spot on though! I think dropping a size to fit the waist would make them too tight around the groin/rear area. They also grip around the calves a lot more than what they look like they do in the picture.*Take note that the colour is a lot darker than what it looks on the website, but to be fair it took me ages to get a picture showing the true colour! They are also slightly different to the ones in the picture, the ones I received have a zip pocket on the left side, the same as the black and beige ones above...so maybe I received the newer version of the green!
