This is actually an excellent smoker for the occasional use. A good design, which is copied across many manufacturers. I only gave it a four star rating because it doesn't come with any kind of instruction, i.e. no recipe book. there are plenty online though. More importantly it does not say not to use it directly on a table. It's a long time since I was in a physics lesson and I forgot that heat transfers down as well as up. There is now a very unpleasant scorch mark on the kitchen table.

I bought one of these around 5 years ago. The only difference with mine is that it doesn’t have a thermometer.To say I’ve used it a lot is a bit of an understatement. I’ve used to for numerous types of fish, particularly trout that I catch. I’ve also used it for smoking bacon and sausages.It’s so easy to use and set up and it all fits snug in the smoker when you’re finished.A tip: I don’t use meths in the burners I use bio ethanol burn better.Mine is looking a bit grim now but it has years left in it.Thoroughly recommend it,

Did not have an instruction how to use. Started using it ,it burned sides . could not stop flame. Has to put on bbq to finish off cooking. Not very good smoker.
