Helpful guide

Since this book's title indicates it is advice from a veterinarian, I was expecting much more detail on specifics of turtle care and specifics to type of turtle. Instead this is a very short book that may help families with children to decide if they would want a turtle as a pet and what kind. The information is far to generic to be helpful to those who already own a turtle.

I was expected more how to take care of your turtle. This did not provide much of that type of info.

It has no useful information and is false advertisement since the author has no knowledge of veterinarian care. I'm pissed that I bought this "guide". If you're copying information off the internet, make sure that you know what you are doing. Box turtles are not turtles, so don't try and claim to know everything there is to know about turtles. This author doesn't know what he's talking about at all, a lot of the information in this "guide" is incorrect. It was just photocopied from the Kindle edition, and once again, DO NOT BUY!

The title says that this is a guide from a veterinarian. That led me to believe it was written by someone with some amount of education. There were so many typos in this book that I didn't trust the actual information given and it looked like someone copied it on their home printer.

This book was absolutely no use to me. It didn't have information on how on how to care for a turtle

I am being quite generous by giving 2 stars, as I was a little underwhemed. I would not recommend it to anyone and woud advise you to consider spending a little more on a better detailed book. I trust this helps.

Useless,not in colour.can't identity different turtles.basically photocopied pages put in a colour jacket.very misleading.Can't see how to set up tank properly.waste of time and money

This was cheap to buy. Which is just as well as it wasn't so much a book as a longer than average leaflet. I didn't think the the information was very good.

All the essential basics for learners

Not as much information as I hoped for. Only 1 sentence in the book about the turtle I keep. Disappointed!
