I bought the 5 inch pots for my patio tomatoes and basil plants to grow before they're planted in the ground. These pots are sturdy, absorb water easiy and since they're biodegradable you plant the pot right into the soil. Very convenient and a must for gardeners.

My seedlings are popping up, quickly, but it is too cold to even think about putting them in the ground. These pots are the perfect size, nice and big with plenty of room for the roots to spread out!

I start most of my annual flowers and vegetables from seed in a small closet that I've transformed onto a growth room. Since I will plant most of them in my own garden, starting them in peat pots and planting pot and all, just makes it easier and helps avoid transplant shock. Cole crops and cucurbits are particularly sensitive. I can grow tomatoes to a pretty large size before they ever go out. I give starts I'm not using to neighbors, and they appreciate the ease of planting too.

great product, just not worth that much money, paying for the name I suppose

I definitely prefer the peat cups to anything else. I can grow seeds in these and then put them in the ground or pot.

Just what I was looking for

Great for transition of plants between the small seedling trays and actually putting them in the garden! Can just plant the whole pot without worries.

These pots are perfect for giving my tomatoes a jump start on the growing season. Here in Colo it's too early to even think about planting these outside. I set them out on the warmer days and bring them back in at the end of the day. These pots are very sturdy and will make it very easy to plant these outside next month. You get 12 pots at a very good price! Ken G
