Chef Select Ergo Silicone Ladle with San Handle, Orange

i bought 6 different utensils of this style, One has already broken within a month of purchase. I do not know why.

No more hunting for the soup ladle. Comfortable in my hand and a nice size. Does the job and not so big that it won't fit in the drawer. Perfect.

I cannot bring myself to say I "love" a soup ladle. It's a soup ladle, for crying out loud!If this is the color you want, just buy it.

I bought several of the chef select ergo kitchen tools and three of them have broken between the handle and the end that is being used. Poor workmanslhip.

After many years I finally got a new set of cookware. It will have to last a lifetime so I chose silicon utensils to prevent scratches. I love it.

I wish I could give this item zero stars, but since I cannot do so, one will have to do.I was initially very pleased with the appearance and price of this item. This evening, however, it broke. The ladle was only hand washed and was never allowed to soak in liquid. It was only used about 10 times and never abused. The handle broke off at precisely the point where it joins the the silicone ladle, rendering the tool completely useless. Upon inspection, it appears that these are two separate pieces which have been glued together.Unfortunately for me the return window for this ladle expired on January 31st. Today is February 25th so I am, as they say, S.O.L. and very unhappy.

Wonderful for my non stick cookware. The plastic ladles were still making scratches, this is a sturdy ladle. Would recommend for your nonstick cooking services.

I received this ladle 1/17/13 and loved it immediately. It was used for soups which I cook often in the cold weather tapering off come spring. Today I was hand washing it and it snapped right at the joint between silicone and plastic. What a shame. The break revealed that there is a tapered part of the hard plastic handle similar to the tongue of a tongue and groove part. That's where it snapped, right where the plastic was narrowest. Beware if you purchase this; I handled it gently because I really liked it and it broke any way.
