I have only read one of the Alex Rider series but my grandson (10) has devoured the lot. They must be good.

Excellent condition and promptly delivered

I honestly felt this was a good installment but it felt like it was trying to do too much. The general plot was great and very Horowitz. My major complaints:Jack being alive: Poorly done and had a few plot holes like 777 and CIA not noticing the film edit and the scorpia member name being in the wall. Her alex nickname should have been mentioned earlierThe brothers: We had one mention of them in Snakehead, I feel like they should have been better introducedRansom: a little clique but the heist made up for itSabina: Should have been more supportive, her character became a bit flakyAlexs devotion to find Jack: felt overdone and became annoying at times. His refusal to let go was infuriating and he had no problem with Yassen's or Ash's death. Both supporting characters who helped alex to let go of his past. Overwall, a decent installment but poorly executed but could have been worse

I bought my 9 year old grandaughter the first in the series of Alex Rider books last September. She absolutely loved it and since then I have given her all the books in the series. She says they are exciting with lots of adventure. She also said that the boys in her class also love the books.

This series really helped me start my journey into reading fiction novels as a hobby during my teenage years - as it has for so many of my peers. It is good to see the technological advancements with weapons/vehicles/communications in this book. Overall, it was a good read and although some may complain that there aren't too many plot twists, I am simply glad to have Alex back.The only 'not so nice' part was the lack of Smithers - His gadgets (and puns) are legendary!Looking forward to Nightshade and keeping my fingers crossed it comes out soon :)

I read the whole series ages ago and absolutely loved it (I was probably around 12-15 at the time) I then read scorpia rising a couple years ago and didn't really find it all that good. It was lacking the real action, in my eyes, after having read fanfiction for a while and getting used to that writing style instead. This book however is definitely a good book in my opinion and it had the action and the style that I missed in the previous book. This is definitely how I remember Alex Rider from when I was a kid! It is kind of obvious that it is a teen book, but all in all a book I would recommend for Alex Rider fans.

A very interesting book for my 10 year old son. He reads it at the speed of 1 book in 2 days!

O livro em si é maravilhoso! Sou suspeita em falar, já que a cada aventura nova do Alex eu me empolgo e fico presa na escrita do Anthony. É muito legal ver o Alex amadurecendo ao longo das suas “missões” e o quanto ele é determinado a fazer as coisas darem certo. Recomendo muito, leio a saga desde os 16 anos e oito anos depois ainda amo lê-la. Quanto ao livro fisicamente, veio na edição mais recente, gostei bastante. Entretanto tinha alguns amassados na capa devido ao transporte. Seria interessante uma embalagem que cuidasse melhor dos itens enviados. No geral eu amei!

Anthony Horowitz has exceeded my expectations once again. Anyone who is an Alex Rider fan will absolutely love and appreciate this book. 10/10 recommend
