Aoi Hoo II2012-2016 Yuzuru Hanyu

There's lots of text in this beautiful book, which of course I wish was in English as well, but the photos are abundant and very high quality, capturing many of the iconic moments and movements that Fanyus cherish. Even the little B&W sillouettes at the beginning of each chapter are perfect renditions of classic poses on a very small scale. The production quality of this book is outstanding. I'm very glad I bought it. Maybe I need to learn Japanese:)

Too expensive for the product

仕事で使う必要が起きて、急いでいたため、早く着いて助かりました。新刊ではないので中古を買うという選択もありましたが、売上を被災地に寄付するという羽生君の心意気に共鳴し、新品を購入しました。羽生君の真面目な考えがわかってよかったです。写真もきれいだし、紙質も良く、新品でも高い値段ではないと思いました。

大ファンで羽生選手の情報は詳しいつもりでした。しかし蒼い炎２を読んで、知らなかった事実がたくさんありました。私がテレビや現地で見ていたあの試合のあの素敵な演技は、こんな壮絶な痛みやプレッシャーの中での演技だったのかと衝撃をうけました。読みながら、自分まで頭、おへそ、おなか、足、色んなところが痛くなってきたような気がしました。アスリートって本当に命がけでその競技と向かい合っているんだな、ファンにできることは祈ることくらいなんだなと考えさせられた本でした。平昌五輪まであと１年半くらい、羽生選手がゲガ、病気をせずに練習にうちこめますように。

2012年から2016年までの記録です。仙台からトロントへ移った経緯や五輪金メダリストまでの栄光の道のりが輝かしく目映く描かれています。その陰には、苦難をバネに乗り越え、飛躍する羽生選手の姿が刻銘に描かれています。初めて、羽生選手の人生に触れた瞬間でもあります。息をのむような美しい写真もふんだんに挿入されておりとても、満足の一冊となりました。永久保存版にしています。

Second part to his biography, more emotional than the first. Proceeds go to Charity. Its a great book to support and to know more about Yuzuru. If you can't read it though, please don't force yourself. Some parts can be hard on the heart.Yuzuru Hanyu is a true fighter.
