Sheffield 12629 Ammo Box Made in USA, Stackable Lockable Ammo Storage Box

I've been using the Sheffield 12630 Ammo Box for about three months, and overall I've been very pleased with it. While it's marketed as an ammo storage box, I've found it useful for storing a variety of shooting accessories and range gear as well. The first thing that stands out is the durability. The plastic feels sturdy and capable of handling regular use without flexing or feeling flimsy. I've transported it back and forth to the range multiple times, stacked it with other gear, and it still looks and functions like new. The lid is another strong point. It locks securely and easily, giving me confidence that the contents won't spill during transport. I also appreciate the stackable design. If you have multiple boxes, they stack neatly and help keep storage areas organized. For anyone with limited shelf or garage space, that's a nice feature. The only downside I've found is the interior length. While it's great for ammunition and many accessories, it's not quite large enough to accommodate most of my segmented gun cleaning rods without having to disassemble them more than I'd like. That isn't a deal-breaker, but it's something potential buyers should consider depending on how they plan to use the box. Pros: Very durable construction Secure lid that locks easily Made in the USA Cons: Interior dimensions may be too short for some segmented gun cleaning rods Not as versatile for storing longer shooting accessories Overall, this is a well-made, dependable storage box that delivers excellent value for the price. If your primary goal is organizing ammunition, magazines, or smaller shooting accessories, it's an easy recommendation. Just be aware of the internal dimensions if you plan to store longer cleaning equipment.

I purchased this Sheffield ammo box to use as a centerpiece item for a hunting-themed fundraiser raffle basket, and it was absolutely perfect for the job! When building a charity basket, you want items that feel premium and immediately catch people's eyes, and this field box definitely delivered. The box is incredibly sturdy, and the fact that it is proudly made in the USA is a huge selling point for our community. The gray color gives it a sleek, modern look, and the build quality feels heavy-duty. It features a solid gasket seal that keeps water and dust completely out, a comfortable carrying handle, and it is lockable for extra security. It worked beautifully as the base container for our raffle basket, holding smaller hunting gear, supplies, and tools inside. The basket was a massive hit at our fundraiser and generated a ton of ticket sales. Whether you are using this for its intended purpose to secure bullets and gear, or using it creatively for an event like I did, you won't be disappointed. Highly recommended!

Very sturdy and well constructed. I was more impressed by this ammo box after I started using it. These will take quite a bit of heavy use and still hold up. Highly recommended. Great for a million and one storage purposes.

good quality but when I got it it's a bit smaller than what I expected. Probably my fault I should've looked for measurements on the ad.

I’ve been waiting to buy an ammo box. No where had pink but of course I knew Amazon had pink. It works perfectly and is great quality. Even waterproof which I enjoy. It’s pink just like the picture! The locking mechanism works perfectly and is stable. I don’t think I could break through this material.

Looks good so far bigger than I thought actually and it's got a lock on the front and fits almost everything I need to fit in it I think I'm definitely going to be buying a couple more they look pretty durable they stack and they also come in different colors

Good price for the real deal, high quality that feels and shows. This is what I’d expect from Sheffield, especially that quality gasket I trust to seal well and keep water out from splashes. I have a keyed padlock on mine, keys with me at all times. For what the box is intended to do and the level of security with accessibility, I think it’s definitely acceptable for locking your items. My items actually have nothing to do with firearms although I understand this is an ammo box. I got the red because this contains life saving items and in an evacuation situation, I’m grabbing it. The red makes it stand out among other items in my home. I am in no way disappointed with this box, and even if I used it for ammo (I used to shoot for sport), I would trust it. Whatever your use case, the color options and heavy duty handle that’s easy to grab but lays flat and the sealing and lock ability and strength of this box entirely make it worth the price. Look no further than this one (unless you need another color, which Sheffield has).

The item came in a reasonable time and a reasonable price. The boxes are pretty nice and the locking mechanism works well.

I use this for as a .22LR field kit to hold my cleaning supplies on my gopher hunts. I wanted a translucent storage box to differentiate it from the olive drab ones I used for ammo.

Value for the money can’t be beat it locks well is secure and feels rugged just a good little ammunition box.

Love the colour, shape and size - perfect for a lot of uses!

Durable

Perfect Box, Ammo stores very nicely, Lock spots are great and its very solid. Does the job for me.
