My door has a wide gap between the front and the frame and I honestly should have went with this to begin with. I tried a few other things that just didn't work. I live in an area that gets incredibly cold and has high winds in the winter. It was super easy to install and easy to cut to length. The shape of the the foam part creates a superb seal. Now I have to push/pull my door a bit to get it to close all the way. The material is very flexible making it easy to work with, however it also seems pretty durable so i am confident in it's ability to keep rain and snow out as well. The best part is that I was able to go around the whole door and have plenty of extra if I need it. I HIGHLY recommend this for those that have a wider gap.

We adopted a couple outdoor cats. Gave them a house and a warm place to sleep. One has the idea it always wants our attention, so it scratches at the weather stripping on the main door to the house. It totally destroyed it. We had already put alien tape weather stripping on the inside of the door, but I needed something to replace the damage the car had done.. I could see light a bit around the door, as the original weatherstripping wasnt quite doing the job(even before the cats).This worked well. It was wider than the weather stripping I was replacing. The door actually slides deeper into this. It doesn't show the light we saw from the oem stripping ..The door doesn't quite shut as easily but it's to be expected since it's a tighter squeeze. I put some plastic alien tape weather stripping over this to help persuade the cat from scratching. So far so good

Worked great to fix some minor leaks. Materials looked as good as the oem seal only wider.

Be very careful when you order weathering strip because the first time I ordered them they were too small but this weathering strip is the perfect size and who would have thought you could buy brand new weathering strip for your doors and literally make the doors brand new again.

This is a good weatherstrip if it fits. It is thicker than the usual and easy to cut with scissors. You'll have to look up 'how to' videos, if you're not experienced in using or replacing weatherstripping as there are no instructions or diagrams included. I almost gave it 3 stars for that honestly. If I'm purchasing your product, I feel you should at least provide some type of explanation with it. It does work well if it fits and is very easy to work with if you know what you're doing.

This is excellent, I used it to help a client that had a door that the frame was out of shape so the door didn't seal on the lower half, there was about a half inch gap, quite the windstorm at times. Replaced the existing weather stripping with this one and the problem was solved. Seems sturdy and looks to do a good job with a varying size gap, it was compressed a good bit on the upper portion and not so much on the lower but still makes a good seal.
