Petite Power Pin (5.5in French Hair Pin) - Cocoa

I saw this item by this brand on Instagram and wanted to try it but never pulled the trigger. Saw it was available on Amazon and finally bought it in 2 colors. Buy this! I have medium length hair (long Bob) that’s wavy and it easily holds all of it. It took my a day of messing with it to really get the technique but now it’s perfect. Im going to buy one for every female in my family. Holds your hair without pulling. Less damaging than even a claw clip. Amazing quality, you can tell the paint won’t chip at all and it’ll last. Packaging is very nice, and it was delivered even faster than expected. Best purchase I’ve made in a while.

I ordered the hair pin after reading a rave review in the New York Times' Wirecutter. It took a good bit of practicing with my medium length hair, but patience paid off. It's a great little tool!

This was so not cute. The videos are misleading as it sticks out like a pair of old lady knitting needles. Thought it looked really dumb.

These hairpins are the best. I love the smoothness of the coating and the color options. I have a LOT of hair and these pins hold everything in place. They are incredibly easy to use. Definitely recommend.

I love this French pin. I love that it blends right into my hair. The ends don't snag my hair while putting it in like others can. My only complaint is that my hair tends to slip out of this faster than others. If I use this on a day where I need it to last a long time without the style falling a bit or having to redo it, I have to use more hair product for grip, make it tighter, and do it higher on my head. Even then, it still usually seems to start drooping or slipping faster. I still love it, but it's not currently the one I reach for if I'm going to an event or outing.

If I use a hairpin by other companies, I need at least two and they are going to slip around. This brand requires only one and it will hold all day.

I have been wanting a a hair pin like this for many years. This is exactly what I imagined it to be and preforms beautifully! Comfortably and stylishly holds my hair up all day. Worth the splurge. I will treasure this for years to come.
