A very good design and simple to use product, however the size was 1/4 inch wider than 19 inch rack so had to cut a bit of both sides to fit.Also power cover keeps falling off so will probably end up lost or just not using.

This PDU is nothing more than a rack mountable power strip. If it wasn't rack mountable, it would cost an awful lot less. However for those of you who need a rack mountable PDU, this is basically the cheapest option for you. There really is not a lot to say about this other than it bolts into the rack and has 6 UK power sockets which you can use to power each of the devices you have mounted in your rack.One thing I wish I could do would be to be able to individually switch on/off sockets on the PDU, with this you can only switch on/off the entire unit at once. As much as I wish this had it, I knew it didn't have individual switches when I bought it, so I can't really mark it down for that.This doesn't have any form of monitoring or uninterruptible power supply built in, so if that's what you need, don't buy this. If you want a basic power supply, for basic equipment that is mounted into a rack, this is a great option for you in the UK.

Bought it for a supplying power on a portion of my electronics workbench. Power entry comes to the rear of the unit as some come out the sides near the rack ears. So no troubles. Cover for power is protected and sockets feel firm.
