It fitted together well, although I did add some plumbers white tape to the threads. We had some very strong and continuous winds. At this point in time should it be necessary I would purchase another. The antitangle rings worked very well.

I had an old one that had been on my house for many years. It wasn't very strong or sturdy, so I finally changed it out with this one. Don't know why the heck I didn't do this sooner. pole holding up well. the plastic screws to tighten the ring broke. I had to put an extension on the pole to keep the flag from tangling.

Great flag pole. Flag can spin on the fasteners so it is easy to untangle in the wind. Pole is strong and didn't bend, even in 25 mph wind.
