Awesome wipes!
I am a total convert to this product! A long time ago, I loved Pond's cold cream for removing makeup. But they changed forumlas and it stopped working well. The I used some sort of creamy stuff from cover girl in a bottle, and it worked well, but is messy. I usually smeared that around with my finger, then wiped it off with a cotton pad (or tissue, which is scratchy.) These are amazing. I wear waterproof mascara and the "all-day" lipsticks, and the regular ones of these wipes takes it all off (I haven't even tried the "Total Makeup Removal" line (which apparently is made for waterproof mascara) because I haven't needed to. These work fine! Sometimes I have to wipe my eyes more than once, but never have had to use more than one wipe. The packaging is okay, I find that mine dry out a little in this foil bag if they are opened a while. I do have the little plastic tub that these are supposed to refill, but it doesn't really prevent that, either (though it is a little better.) Recently, I have been keeping mine in a ziploc bag (still in the foil packet) and that seems to keep them the best. I really love them. I do also sometimes tear one in half, just if I need to remove a makeup mistake or want to change lipsticks mid-day or something and don't want to waste a whole one for just a little bit. They also work well for getting tested makeup off your hand after makeup shopping or even when you get marker or something on yourself I just push the other half back in the packet for later. They do sell a smaller travel pack of 7 which is really nice for traveling, but you could probably just throw a few in another ziploc bag. I wish the came also individually wrapped, just so you could have one at work or in your purse or something, just in case. These really are wonderful and I have them on my subscribe and save so I don't run out. I have tried a few other brands, but these Nutrogena ones are the best and I always come back to them.

Big fan! Have been using Neutrogena wipes for years with great results!
I have used the Neutrogena makeup remover towelettes for years now and love them. They do an incredible job not only getting rid of the mineral powder and mascara off my face, but oil that has accumulated. I use them in the evening and they leave my skin feeling very refreshed. I found since I started using the towelettes that I have less skin breakouts. I wash my face in the morning, using a soft scrub brush and a gentle cleaner before putting on products and minimal if any makeup. At night, I only use the wipes. I love the fact this product gets rid of the eye makeup. There are smaller travel packs that are included in box sets of the wipes. The travel ones are great not only for travel but to stick in your purse. Or, take a few wipes and stick them in a sealable snack bag to wipe and refresh your face, especially on a hot day or if you anticipate crying, hopefully for joy or a sentimental movie. It's easy to pull a wipe out, clean your face, feeling refreshed, put a little mascara on again and you are good to go! The Neutrogena wipes are a little more pricey than all of the other brands that have come out, but I have not been happy with the quality or how my skin feels when trying out other brands. (I love checking out beauty and other products to compare!) That's just my personal opinion but my skin seems happy too.

SO MUCH BETTER THAN ALMAY
I had been using Almay makeup remover towelettes for many years, but then they changed the formula. I found the new ones were much drier and were difficult to cleanse with. It was as if they added lanolin or something similar, which made it difficult to hold onto the towelette while smoothing it over my face - too slippery! I read another women's review which said the Neutrogena towelettes were more moist and did a great job of removing makeup, so I placed my order for the 6-pack. SO GLAD I DID! These are so much more moist and easy to smooth over the face, and they do a wonderful job of removing foundation, powder, lipstick and mascara. I'm not sure it does quite as good a job of removing waterproof mascara as the Almay brand, but with a few extra gentle swipes of both the tops and bottoms of the eyelashes, the waterproof mascara comes off quite well. This is my new brand of makeup cleansing cloths going forward - LOVE THEM!

Removes waterproof makeup, great price
These work better than any makeup remover cloth I've ever tried. I enjoy makeup, so I wear a full face 4 to 5 days a week, foundation, liquid eyeliner, waterproof mascara, etc. Just one cloth removes everything, including the waterproof makeup. I almost always wash my face right afterwards, but on the occasion that I'm too lazy to do so, it doesn't leave me feeling greasy afterwards. Buying them in bulk like this really saves too, at less than $20 for 6 packs, that comes out to less than $3.50 each pack, and in the stores these sell for about $7/8 each, so you're saving about 50%.

Issue at first. Was made right!
I purchased these for my mom, and she really likes them. They apparently work better than other similar brands, and I got a good deal on them. She says the scent is okay. They are the right thickness, they clean well, they don't burn or irritate her skin, and they are designed well.

The pros sufficiently outweigh the cons, in my humble opinion
Overall opinion of product: Yes, I would recommend purchasing (further consideration is required, however, if you have a gluttonous indulgence when it comes to eye makeup). It's a pretty good product with a pretty great value. A single wipe should remove a full face of makeup, so if you buy 150 towelettes, you're good to go for 150 day days for the modest price of $26.49. These wipes are pretty hecking effective at removing foundation, but have a somewhat paling performance in the ways of removing eye makeup. Over agitation or vigorous use on sensitive skin (skin around eyes, for example) can result in the feeling of raw skin, but I don't find I to be that big of a deal. Packaging isn't much of an issue, but an opened package isn't what I'd classify as portable. Makeup removal: I have come to believe that these makeup wipes do remove all foundation from the skin easily and effectively. However, I should add that I almost solely wear primer, foundation, blush, a little bit of highlighter, etc; I only really use skin perfecting makeups. I did try removing eye makeup with these wipes, and it was not a walk in the park. Removing eyeliner and eyeshadow is not that bad, but when it comes to mascara, you may find yourself rubbing your eyes a bit raw before your eyes will yet again be naked. These wipes do a bomb-diggidy job with foundation, though. After using them for the first time to remove a fairly thick layer of foundation, I swept a toner-wetted cotton ball over my face to ensure there was no foundation left behind. Surely enough, the cotton ball appeared free from residual foundation. Hence, I'm inclined to believe there was none left behind. Raw feeling/burning: These wipes feel somewhat chemically abrasive , and often leave my skin feeling raw (especially around more delicate areas such as the eyes). Don't freak out quite yet, though, as it's not something that happens all the time (at least not to me). I only experience that raw feeling when I've resolutely rubbed an area over. I experience the worst of it when trying to remove eye makeup. The burning sensation isn't painful, really, it feels like a mercifully mild sunburn. Other than the feeling, no skin issues have arisen from this matter. No acne, nor dry skin. How long does this purchase last? How much use do you get? So, this comes with a loooot of packs, and each pack has a decently generous amount of wipes. How long it will last you depends on how often you wear makeup. I purchased 150 wipes, and I suspect this purchase will be lasting almost around half a year (I wear makeup just about daily). I only ever need one wipe to fully remove a full face of makeup, so it should last me 150 days, which is pretty great for $26.49. Packaging: Firstly, I want to say, that I appreciate that it's not one or two mammoth-sized packages, but that it's six individual packages. I've gave one package to my friend and one to my sister, so I like that I was able to give them 25 each. I'm selfish and kind of a skincare hoarder, but I also like giving things away, so it was a comfortable amount with which to part. Secondly, the packaging is decent, but if you're careless, the sealing ability may deteriorate. How it works is that there's a plastic flap on top that can be pulled back to expose the towelettes. After grabbing a wipe or just staring at them, whatever you're up to, you can attach the flap to the bottom and it will stick to the perimeter of the opening. So it's a sticky flap that will preserve the hydration of your towelettes, but it works surprisingly well (again, provided you proceed with care). I wouldn't suggest placing an opened package in an environment in which it will get jostled, because the edges of the flap can behind to fold all over the place, causing wrinkles to act as tunnels through which air can travel, and thereby dehydrate your precious wipes. Reason for giving it 4 stars and not 5: A great product, but I can't say I'm in love with it. This is only because of the irritation that can occur, as well as the ineptitude when it comes to the removal of eye makeup.

BEST first daily step of your cleansing routine
These are wonderful! I first purchased at a regular drugstore for a much higher price. I am an avid cleaner of my face and neck. These truly are the BEST first step to getting that makeup off. We have these everywhere in the house. One in each bathroom, one by the bed, the TV room, my child's room and even in the gym bag. There is no excuse not get the makeup, dirt or daily oil off. It is easy, has a clean scent (no annoying florals or perfumes) and really does clean as advertised, even better. I never worry about deep cleaning each day like I used to as long as I use these once a day. Follow up with a sonic cleanser and good liquid cleansers is in our routine, but it has been reduced to twice a week now that we use these. I was acne prone and I have only had 2 random small blemishes in 8 weeks now. Hope it works as well for you.

Comining back
I originally ordered these for my travel to Europe for a simple solution of cleansing my face before bed. I loved them so much that I decided to keep a package next to my bed at home, because sometimes I am too tired to go through a big routine in the bathroom. So I felt good about my makeup being removed quickly before bed. Well, if you knew me you would know that I am all about saving money! So I bought a generic brand. There is no comparison. The others felt rough and were incomplete in removing all of my makeup. I was especially able to tell the next morning. After using the Neutrogena Makeup Remover wipe my face felt smooth, clean and I had no residue left. They leave a fresh scent and using one was sufficient for all my make up to be removed completely. I gave a package to a friend of mine (which was hard to do) and she absolutely loved them. I'm so glad to return to the real thing!
