looks great can't wait for spring
Quality looks good and two cameras will be great for small hummingbirds. This will be our second Birdfy feeder and the first has been great with solar power source.

Less than 3 months old and already broke.
So far it has worked great, easy to set up and the app is easy to use. I was able to see hummingbirds 2 weeks earlier than previous years. Only gave it two stars because the hook connected to the top of the feeder broke after less than 90 days. It cannot be hung at all now. Itโs only a piece of plastic. I reached out to Birdfy to see about getting a replacement part but never heard back from them. Such a disappointment.

Leaks and Camera stopped working
Used it for 2 months. I have taken really good care of it. Bring it in at night. All of a sudden the cameras quit working. I did all the troubleshooting and still isn't working. Waiting on reply from Birdfy support.

SO COOL!
I have to admit that I am used to the old school hummingbird feeder but mine was in need of repair as the cracked plastic flowers began to fall off. I though Id try this new version to see how my birds took to it and how I would maybe like it. I dragged my feet for weeks to set it up. Its actually quite easy to do so after charging through a usbc (overnight) and paring to the app, I have been watching a several of my 'regulars' investigate the new location and setup. Because the wind storm is downright insane today I set it on my table on my patio instead of hanging it (for now) and placed the old one (with broken plastic flowers) next to it since they "know" that one. The app video identified it as an Allen Hummingbird. Allen. I was hoping for a Kyle or Derrick! LOL! No seriously, though, this is kinda cool. Kevin, my local squirrel, cant reach it so thats a plus. This type of hummingbird is very territorial which explains his attitude and their fighting on my patio! Total gangster bird! My only gripe, but a small one, is that you have to pay for a subscription with NO trial so that you can enjoy 1) notification of an actual bird not just leaves or wind blowing setting off the motion detector unnecessarily burning battery and 2) identify the bird or animal that stops by. Without the subscription the notification constantly goes off with nothing to see as its JUST ANY movement and on a windy day that was annoying. So I paid the $5 a month and didnt like that there was no trial period before committing but, whatever! So far I like it! I will circle back on how long the battery lasts and how often it needs to be charged. I figure once I fix up my old one (new flowers on the way!) I can use it when Im charging the fancy one! LOL!

Great addition!
My grandma LOVES it! However, future upgrades should include features that make the bottle easier to clean. The end (with the hook) doesnโt come off, so it is impossible to clean. The cork does come out and is replaceable on the part that goes into the base which allows for cleaning inside of the bottle. The rubber pieces do mold very easily, so clean often!

Actually nice!
I was super skeptical as to how nice this would be especially after reading some of the reviews, but I'm really glad that I gave it a shot! Ours came very well packed and secured with no damage to it whatsoever. Everything was perfectly sealed up so there was no leaks after we got the nectar put in there. It was super easy for my husband to install just be sure you set it up in a very sunny place and you're good to go! This definitely functions as it should and you can clearly see the hummingbirds on there. It's a great entertainment value for anyone that loves to watch hummingbirds or birdwatch in general. The directions were very clear and easy to read so it was very helpful with getting everything set up and ready to use. I think it's 100% true to the ad and they must have updated it quality wise because everything seems very sound and nice! This has a great appearance and I'm very impressed by how user-friendly it is! Solid 10 out of 10

Not compatible with 5Gz band routers...
Item must be connected to your home network in order to use their app obtain video or still photos. Problem is it will only connect to a 2.4Gz band of your router. Most routers are either 5Gz or dual band, (5Gz and 2.4Gz). If you have a dual band that runs a combined named network, you won't be able to connect to your 2.4 band unless you reconfigure your network and separate out you two bandwidths... In other words, it's not compatible with a 5Gz band router...

Love it!
I got this for my wife. She had a standard feeder and always enjoys seeing the hummers eat. I got this during the off season and we've just recently started using it. It really works! Within a few minutes there was a hummer at the feeder and videos on my wife's phone. The picture quality is very good, as is the sound. (They really do "hum" when they fly!). We had no idea that the hummers were around so frequently. We'd see one occasionally...and think "Oh...that's cool." But now we see them on her phone ALL THE TIME! I'd recommend this if you enjoy watching humming birds.
