Fun kit for the 8 year old. Book is a bit hard to read for a kid but the instructions come with a QR code that links to a video demonstrating how the trick looks and how to perform. The video doesn't show all the tricks in the kit though. These tricks are pretty well known so the kid can look how how to do it on youtube

Bought this for my nine-year-old son to do magic tricks at his variety show at the end of the school year. It was so easy for him to learn each of the tricks, and he enjoyed it so much and everybody in the audience gave them rave reviews.

This is a fun kit for VERY young children. It is about as basic and obvious of a kit that you could have as far as the illusions they can perform with it The disappointment for me was I have children between 6 and 10. It keeps my 6yr old entertained, but my 8 and 10 year old quickly got board with it. The quality of the kit is good, and if your purchasing for a younger child it is a decent value for what they can do with it. If your looking to spark interest in magic tricks and illusions for a younger child its a solid purchase. If your kids are a little bit older 8 and up I would advise looking for a more age appropriate kit.
