This works very well. I am very happy I bought it. Great when travelling

Unofficially it didn’t work for me. The rush itself got too hot to hold too fast. I felt like the whole brush didn’t really take any fizz but just made my hair look flat and dull. Probably best suited for Afro or extremely curvy hair.

Not for me. I have straight shoulder length hair and it’s not too fine. But honestly it didn’t do anything. I really wanted it to work. But it was heavy and hard to use. I don’t know how other people on instagram manage to make it look so easy. They must have loads of hair, a bit course and maybe already wavy.

This does what it says. Easy to use and straightens my hair really well. The only downside is that is is a little heavy, so not so great for travelling.

Awesome purchase.

It shut off after 30s twice before it finally stayed on and heated up (did this each time I turned it on). It did then get very hot, unlike other portable straigteners I've tried, but lasted no more than 10 mins before running out of charge. Doesn't go through the hair easily. Am returning

Useless did nothing to my hair like advertised

Good to touch up and smooth hair but the battery life is very poor and takes longer than I thought to get to temperature.

It heats up really fast and has 3 different heat levels suitable for different types of hair. It is very easy to use and can be slipped in a bag easily due to its small size. I have tried using it for straightening and curling to increase the volume. The tymo porta works well for both. Would definitely recommend for anyone who loves to travel but don't want to bring a full size curling iron or straightener!

Son autonomie n'était pas suffisante.

I have frizzy hair…. ALL the time. I am not very coordinated so I gave up on using a straightener after burning myself numerous times. This brush is so easy to use and you can take it with you on the go for touch ups as it holds a charge well! My only complaints - a bit heavy, but understandabley so as it has a battery for cordless and the switch for low med and high is located on the front of the handle and I am constantly switching to low as I am brushing my hair. But with that being said, I would buy this again…. It straightens my hair without causing damage to my hair and no burns!!!

Let me start with the packaging. The box (with a magnetic close), is an excellent presentation. Everything inside is well laid out and leaves an impression of quality. There are some smart details, like the transparent strip around the handle that gives the instructions in the event you discard the paper instructions inside. The clips are a nice touch. It feels well-made and is a great size for traveling. I have very curly thick hair. I had to section it a bit to get the teeth to glide through. My hair type is 3C/4A and it says right in the advertisement (which I didn't notice until I bought it) that I should have purchased the Corded model. However, one of the attractions for me was the ability to use this without the cord, so I'm not complaining. it powered on extremely fast, maybe 30 seconds and was hotter than I expected so I lowered the temperature from the 2nd light to the first. I started with my hair curly and it took out the curl with only 3 or 4 passes. It was a little tricker to use it as a curling wand, but I got the hang of it pretty quickly. While the back of the brush doesn't get too hot, the tines do, so I'd suggest a heat glove which worked perfectly for adding curl. When curling, my hair did not get stuck in the tines when I wrapped it around the barrel - a huge plus. If I wanted to get my hair the way I like it while traveling, I would have to take my large, round blower brush AND a curling iron, so consequently I don't take either or have to pick between one or the other. This is small, compact and once charged, the added convenience to be able to use it without a cord, will be really helpful, especially on cruises. It hopefully will take the place of the two I usually use. The 4 stars is only because I haven't traveled with it yet, I'm unsure about how long the charge lasts when using it without the cord and I don't know if it will work for years or only a few months. That said, this appears to be an exciting addition to my travel accessories. Update after several uses: I'm leaving the 4 star rating, because everything I said above is true, except: I fully charged the straightener and then attempted to use it without the cord. The heat only lasted through one usage before I needed to charge it again. With my hair, I need to do all of it from start to finish not just a quick touch up, so you might get more usage than I did. That in itself, is not a deal breaker as you could charge it overnight and then use it without the cord at least once during the day. I also wanted it to curl and I found that it was difficult to produce an actual curl. Wispy waves no problem, actual curl, not so much. Wrapping hair around the brush is not that easy and you really need a heat glove to do that. The most annoying part, though, is that it's really easy to turn off the heat while you're using it. It's great that it's compact, but there's not enough room to wrap your hand around the base without turning it off constantly. I'm leaving the 4 stars because, it did smooth my hair out beautifully with just a few passes and it is small and compact. Unfortunately, though it ultimately didn't work for me and I had to return it.

This one is legit and works very well. Also dual voltage so can be used outside the US (with the necessary plug adapter for the country).
