The ted one arrived fully functional but the black one was jammed. I had to catefully use cloth coveted pliers to pull the jammed top part off. I then added spray lubricant. Afyer putting it back together it worked like a charm!

I really love these carpenters pencils, they very good and easy to sharpen them. Additionally, they don’t break easy.

Wood Working Mechanical Pencils
These mechanical pencils are great for marking measurements for cutting and tracing mounting holes for brackets, the built in sharpener is a nice touch. These pencils are better than using carpenter pencils and regular # 2 pencils.

Product is as advertised
This is my second set of these pencils. I was a bit rough on the first set but it survived for over 2 years. They are priced well, delivered on time and good quality for the price.

Good fabricators pencil
These pencils take a lot of abuse and don’t give up. I use them with silver, gold, or red lead and am a professional fabricator. They hold up and they hold up well. The included sharpener doesn’t snap out crumble the top of the lead and the narrowness of the pencil is quite functional for matching or duplicating hole layout from preexisting pieces. I would buy again and have found my new favorite marking utensil for work.
