I appreciate the customizable passcode on this lock, as it allows me to set a combination I won't forget. However, the lock doesn't seem very durable—it looks like it could be pried open without too much effort. If you're looking for something truly heavy-duty and hard to break, you might want to consider other options. For regular use, like securing school or gym lockers, it should work just fine.

I got this lock for my detached garage, which has a barn door with a hasp lock on it. This lock came simply packaged with a small instruction manual. Sadly, the manual’s description as to how to change the combination didn’t seem to coincide with the design of the lock that came with it, but there was enough info there to get the gist of what needed to be done and change the combination code. The instructions also used pictures (no words) to describe the lock changing procedure, which didn’t help. That said, the mechanics of the lock seem solid. The number dials roll easily and numbers on the dial click into place as you rotate them. It’s clear when a number is properly positioned. I like the little button on the top of the lock which releases the lock when the correct combination is set on the dials. It’s a small thing, but it makes it easier than “yanking down” on the lock to see if it will open. Given my experiences so far, this lock works as it should and I am satisfied with it. It would certainly be a good choice for any indoor application.While the lock is supposed to be weatherproof and made for outdoor use, I have yet to use it through winter weather of the Northeast. I will update this review in a few months to describe how well the lock fares with freezing temperatures, rain and snow.

Nice durable lock that is quick and easy to use. It is also very easy to change/set your own combination. I really like the fact that it has a "Push Button" under the hasp that keeps the lock secured even when the correct combination is dialed in. To me, this is a nice little extra feature that will help keep your lock in place and gives the appearance the lock is "Secure" should walk away from it without turning the dials to lock the lock. Overall, nice lock!

The Amazon entry for this lock said it was heavy duty, but I did not comprehend how heavy duty it is.This combination lock is quite large and substantial. It is quite heavy and the hook of the lock measure just over 1/4" in diameter.It was very easy to reset the lock to my own personal code.

This is a Puroma brand heavy duty combination lock. It uses a 4 digit resettable code. I like that this lock is anti-rust and weatherproof making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications.This lock is easy to open. Once you enter the code, just press the unlock button on the top of the lock and it pops open making it easy to unlock with one hand.It is also very easy to set the combination code. Just follow the instructions.

This will be mostly used for the gym locker. I like that this lock is rather lightweight, so carrying it in your gym bag doesn't add too much weight to it. The combination is super easy to enter and change; I can't even remember if it came with instructions because I was able to figure it out in a moment.

This combo look was easy to set up with simple instructions. It's thick and heavy duty. My issue is the poor design of the digit swivel. It's not as smooth when it comes to twisting to your designated digit code. If you have thick and large hands, it's hard to get to. It's quite stiff and that rotational dial to get to your digit will take forever to unlock. It has potential but this design is just flawed. Who has time to just spend all their seconds to turn that stiff dial?
