Bought this because I bought a Sony Str-DH830 for 9.99 at a thrift it was missing the am antenna. I bought this & works like a charm reception & quality is there! No more static or missing channels!

Perfect little antenna
The reception came in very clear the cable length perfect. Was very easy to connect. The compatibility with my radio was perfect to functioned great

Complete waste of money, zero signal improvement
I hooked this up to my home stereo system exactly as instructed, but it made absolutely no difference in the reception. I still get nothing but static on every AM station. My old wire antenna actually worked better than this "upgraded" loop. Don't bother with this one.

Combination AM/FM antenna
Another reviewer mentioned this is an AM only antenna and posted a photo of the base that says AM antenna. That reviewer doesn't know what they're talking about. The circular loop antenna IS an AM antenna, yes, but the third wire is the long, single FM wire. Hopefully that review will be taken down as it provides misinformation. At any rate, this works. I have it plugged into a CMT-SBT100 and it receives both AM and FM stations.
