and was very disappointed because it has such a great title
I purchase and own hundreds of makeup books and study and use all of them. This is one of my least favorites, and was very disappointed because it has such a great title, but honestly I do not feel it should be able to carry such a great title, kind of deceiveing, there are so many great books out there that can really help a person to get their makeup application near professional , but this is definitly not one of them, as a matter of fact I found it downwright disappointing, I guess you should not give ok a fantastic title.!!!! I would say save your money on this one , believe me there are some fantastic books out there still inprint and ways of getting some really great out of print books on makeup application.. AND--- really I am not extremely picky, if I can find even one truly great tip or one great way someone describes something to make it easy or interesting I will rate it well.

Not for the makeup novice but for beginners
This book is really geared towards beginners. It gave helpful tips and advice but I didn't gain anything new to give me any new inspiration or new techniques on to how to apply makeup better.
