Works great for homemade sunscreen
What’s to know? It’s beeswax. The pellets probably melt faster than a big chunk of it. I use it for homemade sunscreen, which works tremendously well. The more beeswax you put in it the thicker it gets so if you’re a surfer and want to stay on, I would double up the beeswax in the recipes you find. And hear something that will save you a lot of pain. Put the beeswax in a mason jar that you can throw away afterward or keep without having to try to clean it. This stuff is a real bugger to clean. Then you can put the mason jar in a pan of hot water to melt it. I like to try to hold mine off of the bottom of the pan just in case so it won’t crack. My last batch of sunscreen was made right in the jar with a stick blender, which is much easier to clean than putting it in a Cuisinart, which is a total nightmare!

Great buy. Great product
Larger than I thought it would be. Saves time melting, unlike tough blocks.

Good quality
It’s beeswax. Good quality, not clumped, and a bit more than I imagined for the weight. A slight honey smell when melted.

Great for my candles
The media could not be loaded. Has a slight weird smell but burns nicely in my candles. A good value for the price.

Quick melting, soft natural scent
Perfect for my beard balm and I look forward to exploring new recipes for this beeswax.

Looks good
The wax itself melts really well. The only thing I don’t like about it is that it takes forever to actually melt to form a candle, but once it’s melting as a formed candle, it does a nice slow burn melt

Don’t buy this one
I use beeswax to make chapstick for myself. This beeswax is not great. It was really grainy and the little grains would not melt. I had to filter out the grains which added another time consuming step in the process. Then once my chapsticks had set up, they were still grainy and left that little sand/grains all over my lips. I’ve never had this issue with a beeswax before. I will not be buying this particular brand again.
