A superb, heavy duty stepper that is perfect!
Keppi Fitstep 1000 Pro Purchased February 3, 2025 I purchased the KeppiFitness Stepper Fitstep 1000 Pro to use at home. I am 74 year old and had been using an Elliptical machine which I loved; however after having a family conference with my daughter and her hubby on my Birthday in January, I realized that since I am 6 years from being 80 that perhaps I should change the kind of exercise machine I use. I am 5 ft. 1/4 inch tall and I had to use a riser to reach the footpads of the elliptical machine. My daughter and her hubby were concerned that if I fell once, it could be very dangerous, perhaps deadly. After doing some research I decided on this heavy duty and truly amazing stepper! It says it is a mini-stepper but truthfully this is a very substantial piece of exercise equipment. It is big, it weighs 22 pounds, and the weight limit is 400 pounds. No I am not that heavy but I have struggled with weight all my life and have exercised off and on, but never consistently until the last 15 years. This exercise machine is easy to use and since I am a 'Queenager" I stabilize myself by leaning on my permanent stable kitchen island which is very sturdy. Being safe has to be a very real part of working out and simply because one doesn't feel in danger, doesn't mean they can't be in physical danger if they use an exercise machine that doesn't fit their age or physical capability. I listen to Audiobooks or watch videos on my cell phone or tablet when I work out. I have lost 28 pounds since receiving my stepper which I received on February 6th, 2025. I fell better, I sleep better, I feel more mentally aware also. All that oxygen in the brain does help with that. I also have lost 2 sizes in slacks and 1 size in tops. If you ever wondered about using a stepper, I can assure you that this is the one to purchase. I started out using the stepper for 2 minutes at a time and now I can work out for a length of 45 minutes at a time. I also have used the tension adjuster on the front of the machine to get more resistence. The price is very reasonable and this stepper can also be moved if you need to move it to a different room. Also another thing I love about this stepper is that the way the steps move is to the side, rather than simply up and down, so my hips, knees, and legs get a great workout which is helping with my mobility! This aspect is the reason why I decided on this specific brand of stepper. I am truly inspired to work out every day and have to restrain myself from trying to do more than I should too soon. It is important to build stamina as well as time using this astounding exercise machine. If you ever wanted to know how effective a stepper is, I can only speak to this brand, The Keppi Fitstep 1000 Pro is the one I have absolute confidence in.

As described
Love it. No problems. Ease in move, quality in resistance. Burns if use as instructed; and is durable. Does the job.

Heavy Duty Except
Lasted for a little less than 5 months. This is a very heavy duty stepper except for where the pulley wheel attaches to the height adjustment rod. The top broke causing the pulley wheel to bend upward, causing slack in the cable making both pedals slam down on the rubber stops. It is unusable now.

Side to side motion and higher lift…great stepper
Great stepper, larger pedals and higher lift make it a way better workout.

Get the FITSTEP1000 !
FitStep1000 is the way to go! I am 38 years old female and I have used various steppers since I was 16. I absolutely will never stop incorporating them into my workout routine. The first one I had literally lasted for 10 years! This was before Amazon was around so I couldn’t tell you what brand it was but eventually it broke so I went on a quest to find another with not much luck. I’ve bought ones that were not durable or didn’t perform as well as I had hoped. I did a lot of research before purchasing this stepper and I’ve been through about 4 other steppers prior to this one in my lifetime so I can tell you from experience, this is by far the best one I’ve had yet. It’s a little early as I’ve just received it, but I can tell by the durability and performance that this one is superior to the few I’ve previously owned by other companies in the past. If you’re considering buying the other less expensive version of the stepper ( FitStep500 ) I would highly advise you to bite the bullet and invest in the FitStep1000. I can tell you from experience that the more these things are able to twist your step the better workout you will have. I’ve dealt with cheaper steppers that just stepped up and down, weren’t made as durably and it was such a waste of money. If you’re gonna invest in something that’s going to take up room in your house you might as well make it a good investment. With this company, I noticed that with the FitStep1000 VS the FitStep500 the pedals are not only wider and curved but the twist motion is obviously more pronounced than the FitStep500. This makes SO MUCH of a difference in your workout. I have lost 25+ pounds just by using steppers 20 minutes twice a day but only with ones that have a significant twist in the step which is why I went with the FitStep1000 rather than the FitStep500. Now, I’ve never used this brand before but just from the looks and comparison of the two, the FitStep1000 looked like it would get the job done. I’m sure the other one is fine in terms of durability but if you’re looking for a truly impactful workout by getting all of the glute, leg and ab muscles, you gotta go with something that has a deeper twist in your step. Yes it’s more money but I’m telling you, it’s gonna be worth it in the long run! Seriously this thing can give you a bikini body in six weeks time. See faster/ better results and get the Fit step 1000!

Mine came missing 1 rubber stopper
EDIT: received my replacement stepper and that was also missing a rubber stopper. So I took it and now my first stepper is good to go without damaging the metal frame. I love using this while I watch tv. Way better than a treadmill. I also love that the counter saves the data. I’m doing 1 hour a day but broken up. So as soon as I hit 60 minutes I stop and reset the counter for the next day. Not a big fan of using the attached bands as I prefer light free weights for my upper body. I can go barefoot using it too. Was a bit worried the footpads would hurt but they don’t at all. Looks very heavy duty and I would love to use it but it showed up missing a rubber stopper underneath a foot plate. I’m afraid to use it and damage the metal base where the foot plate now hits. Submitted a return and I’m just waiting for my replacement.

Received used product
The product we got had definitely been used before. Was it returned? The pads were dirty and the batteries were old and corroded. It still seems to work but we should not have gotten something that has certainly been taken out of the box and used before.

Back in the saddle and stepping again
UPDATE: I found a way to contact the seller and, after seeing my photos, they decided to send me a new stepper to replace the broken one. The new unit arrived today, and I've already had a chance to break it in. Their customer service was top notch! One thing I noticed here, that I hadn't with the first one, was a warning not to use the stepper more than 15 minutes at a time. My first thought was that was for personal safety, but now I'm wondering if it's because the heat of continued use can weaken the materials used in manufacture. My workouts will now be changed to 15 minutes on the stepper, 30 minutes on the bike trainer, rinse & repeat. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- I actually really like the product, and would give it more stars for functionality. However, it lasted only five months (one full month unused) before breaking. The photos show where the metal failed and broke apart. This unit was part of an exercise program that helped me drop 40lbs prior to my vacation, which had me looking better in a swimsuit than I had the year prior. The resistance and the depth of step were perfect for me. Unfortunately it will now be collecting dust.
