Natural effect
Great product. Creates a much more natural effect than pots because you can mould them to the shape of the pond. They become almost invisible as you can see.

could do with some tie backs
Seems sturdy and is now in the pond with soil in it, only comment is that would have been nice if it came with some ties to tie it to side of pond although i understand most people put it on bricks or something, but we didn't want to as only a small pond.

The actual 'sock' is sturdy enough but the press studs need to be better ...
I bought a couple of these to use in a newly planted pond where the sides have been dig a bit steeper than ideal as I thought they would balance rather than sliding into the bottom of the pond. They did do this. What i didn't do to start with was to do the poppers up first and plant through the gaps, which is a bit fiddly. the first attempt involved an awful lot of swearing as I was trying to do soily flimsy press studs up over the top of an over filled 'sock'. I have heard tales of newts getting feet stuck in the fabric so I just hope that doesn't happen. The actual 'sock' is sturdy enough but the press studs need to be better quality and the issue of newt welfare investigated. There could do with being instructions on the best way of using them .

Five Stars
Pleased with this produce which arrived in good time and now hosts some of my marginal plants.

Very disappointing
It is what it is. Does the job.But who on earth thought it was a good idea to use plastic press studs to close something containing soil. The tiniest bit of grit and it's impossible to fasten them.Ended up having to make my own holes in the sock and close it with cable ties.End of the day this is a disappointing product from an otherwise very good brand.

Pretty useless
This product, and the smaller one by the same company, are nothing like as good as the previous versions. The previous versions were a woven tube with an open end. Once filled and the end closed you cut holes for the plants. This worked very well. The current version has an open flap over the open top, which you close with poppers. It doesn't work: there is insufficient room for the plants to stick out of the top because of the overlapping flap, the poppers are insufficiently strong to keep the top closed, and any dirt on them stops them fastening. It makes these planting socks pretty useless. Find a diferent make which is like the previous versions.

Smaller than expected
Not as big as expected but still does a good job, loses soil from between the press studs unless you put gravel in the tops!
