Great coverage for a foundation or can be used as a concealer. You can also mix with moisturiser for a lighter base.Small pot,but don't be fooled it will last for sooooo long.Shade wise they are yellow based so try and go on website or YouTube and see some swatches of shades just to give a guideline . This is a cult product from the genius who sadly is no longer with us.

Use alone or blend with another foundation to get the colour you need. Very dense pigment - a little goes a long way.

Although it's only a small tub it certainly goes a long way I don't expect to run out of this for a very very long time, so deffinately worth the price.

In general, I like the products from the late makeup artist Kevyn Aucoin and this foundation is no exception. It's been in the product line for many years so that in itself speaks volumes about its popularity. It comes in little pot, but you really only need a tiny amount of the highly pigmented formula, so it should last quite a while, even with daily use. It offers full coverage, but application does require a bit of practice, particularly if you're not very adept with makeup. I would say it was best suited to drier skins, and this is definitely a 'less is more' product in terms of its application. It comes in a good variety of shades from light to deep skin tones. It's worth experimenting with as both a foundation and concealer, you could also mix a tiny amount with your day cream and use this as a tinted moisturiser. In fact, that may give a better result for daytime use, because its highly pigmented formula, can make the skin look too flat and perfect! This foundation is so creamy and luxurious! I need to put face cream under it or mixed with it because it’s really thick and you only need a tiny little bit. It doesn’t dry my face at all like other products and looks natural. Love it! This is my brand of foundation from now on!😊

This stuff is really effective and provides great coverage for spots and uneven tone. The name is misleading - this is NOT a foundation in the traditional sense of the word. It's very thick (basically a wax) which means it goes on totally matte and just sits there. In fact, I probably wouldn't put it all over my face as it's just too "flattening" to the skin tone.Advice for application - (1) wash your hands first to avoid getting dirt in the pot, (2) dab a TINY bit into the lid, (3), warm it up by rubbing your fingers together, (4) tap it onto your skin and tap to blend.I'm not sure how the shades work for other skin tones, but I have fair/medium skin with truly neutral (beige) undertones and this is pretty close to non-tanned me.

NEEDS TO BE USED WITH THE PRIMER. Oh this color is so thick and pigmented - a little goes a really long way. It was lighter than I was expecting - but once blended out with a little primer it covers seamlessly. It can be used thick for reallly full coverage, or thinned out for a more natural look. Stays put - I do think it's a little drying though.

I feel like this product has been so hyped up and it really doesn't meet the expectations I had for it. I know it can be quite a difficult product to figure out but I've done a lot of research and tried applying it and working with it a million different ways. The best option I found is to mix a VERY tiny amount with some moisturizer and use it for spot concealing but it doesn't stay very long, even after setting it with powder and setting spray. It also clings to any texture you may have and I think it just makes you look terrible. I would give this one a miss, plus it has mineral oil in it.
