Need a bigger size that smells and taste perfectly for my husband’s chai tea

It is well sealed and has a nice fresh aroma when using it. Definitely enhances the flavor of some home dishes.

This is very good allspice. I use it in a bunch of different cooking and baking, and the flavor is always very prominent

My wife likes baking with fresh pumpkin so Allspice gets used quite a bit. The label states product of Mexico, so given that Allspice is best known from the Central America/Mexican region, I'll take that as a stamp of authenticity. It has a good aroma and has worked well with the pumpkin bread we have used it for so far. Expiration date is December 2026, so plenty of time to use it.

This is a large 5.29 ounce container of fresh tasting allspice that comes safety sealed with a shaker/spoon out flip top. Produced in Mexico, this is pure allspice without any additives or anti-caking agents. The container that I received had a best by date of 12/2026 which gives me plenty of time to use it. Allspice can be used as a substitute for cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg in recipes or used to add warmth to both sweet and savory dishes. I use it when making pumpkin pie, Swedish meatballs, and in pot roasts and gravy. This is a good value for the quality and amount you get!

I was looking forward to this spice arriving. Sadly it arrived leaking and covered in its powder. I would say there was a good half a teaspoon of powdered allspice sprinkled all over the plastic part of the bottle and inside the package it came in. While it did not fully appear open to the naked eye, upon taking off the lid, I could see the aluminum foil covering was bulged upwards. I was always taught when an item is doing that to toss it. That it is not okay to consume. I did smell the bottle and aluminum covering and it didn’t smell bad, it had that allspice smell. The color of the spice looked okay. But I could not safely taste it with the lid bulging the way it was. Nor can I recommend it sadly.
