Unexpectedly Large!
Probably my fault for not reading the description properly, but my first reaction on opening the box (it's nicely presented) was "Oh!" I was expecting it to be smaller. So it's big and more blingy than it looks in the picture. The picture also doesn't quite show how it's constructed. The details of the leopard's face - the silver, sparkly bits, are kind of like a lattice, and the black background is a few mm behind, with an empty space in between; and the black background is very shiny. So depending on where the light is, sometimes the black background doesn't look black at all, because it's reflecting so much light. I would rather it looked black in all lights. To be honest I thought it was quite different, and I thought the black was enamel, which it isn't. I hummed and haa-ed over whether to send it back. In the end I have kept it, but so far (nearly six months later), I haven't worn it yet, whereas if it were smaller, I might have. It was a good price though!

Large, sparkly, but don't rate the black background which looks a bit like black plastic. Ordered two but had to send one back as arrived with the pin snapped off. Reasonably good for the price.

Love it!
This is a stunning brooch - as other reviewers have said, the diamante area is raised above a flat black background, giving a 3D effect to the whole thing. I was very pleased with my purchase!

Beautiful
This is beautiful to look at. Very large, about one and half inches top to bottom, and very heavy for a brooch. Just make sure you wear it with a strong piece of clothing!!!
