Chicago Comb Model 6 Carbon Fiber, 7 inches (17.8 cm) long, anti-static, graphite black, made in USA

I’ve used Beardbrand before and they are great, don’t get me wrong, but inevitably, the teeth on a comb will eventually start to chip off the very ends or break off completely. I didn’t want to shell out what Beardbrand costs now so I got this one which is similar in length. Been using it for months now every day and no chipping yet. Works as expected. No quality issues. Feels like a normal beard comb. Get it.

At first I hesitated to spend so much on a comb, but my hair gets frizzy easily and I hoped that the material of this comb might help with that, and that it might be durable enough to carry with me. It's even better than I expected. I've had it for over two years now and it still looks brand new. I originally thought that even if it was durable, eventually the finish would wear off at least, but it hasn't yet. I almost couldn't believe how long I've had it when I came to submit a review. But even after all this time, it's still perfect. No bending or changing shape over time, and I don't even notice any scratches or anything. I carried it in my bag with me for a while, but now it lives in my bathroom and I use it almost every day. The teeth are spaced apart perfectly, it's easy to part hair with, and overall does everything I need a comb for perfectly. I love it and hope to keep using it for a long time. No regrets about buying this comb.

Well made and is a very nice form factor. It is small enough to be a go to travel item but not so small to not be useful. Will use it as my everyday comb now. Very happy with this comb.

This comb is amazing, Its Durable af, and glides through all hair types, gently removing any tangles. I've had mine for over a year now and it still looks brand new.

It has been a great comb for about 3 years and then one of the teeth broke off. Didn't think it was possible with carbon fiber but there it is. Still liked it while I used it. Oh well.

If you only use cheap combs that came with other things you bought, you are missing out. Treat yourslef to this comb and see how it feels to use a real comb instead of those plastic cheap ones. It is strong and i liked it so much, i bought two, one for the home and one for the travel bag.

After 15 years with a pair of cheap Goody combs, I finally bought some new, more expensive replacements. The Carbon Fiber #6 is my new favorite. It generates zero static, combs very smoothly, and is incredibly light. The comb has a unique sound compared to plastic. I've been surprised how much nicer it is than the cheap combs I've used for over a decade. For a larger comb that lives in my bathroom drawer, this is the one. The fine teeth appear to be about 1.5mm wide and the larger teeth are 3mm wide. I also bought a Chicago comb #1 in stainless steel, and I like it as well (it is certainly all the comb I need and more), but it is heavy and, while smooth, it does not have same magical feel as the #6. The metal comb "sings" a little more as it passes through the hair--some people like this, I prefer the quiet and sheer lightness of the #6. The Carbon Fiber composite material feels (and sounds) totally different from a typical plastic comb. I don't think I would trust its durability in a pant's pocket, but in a drawer or toiletry bag, it is excellent. I had never used an anti-static comb before, and (with dry hair) the difference is remarkable. Both my steel and carbon combs are smooth and static-free, while my old Goody comb and the Byrd pocket comb (pictured far right and far left) generate a lot of static. If you are spending $10-$15 on a comb and don't intend to carry it in your pants' pocket, then the #6 is my vote.

I have beard hair that love to get tangled... this comb glides through and feels like therapy with each stroke.

Good comb doesn’t feel cheap and has a good quality feel to it. Great value for money. It’s a decent size. Great for beards.
