Love it!
This is my 3rd projector, many years ago I bought a second hand Polaroid 201 on Ebay, it was ok, LCD SVGA resolution but rather large and noisy. 2nd projector was an infocus IN26 which was smaller quieter in Eco mode and better resolution at XGA 1024 by 768. Problem with this one for me is the DLP aspect, I can see rainbows! Damn! This is a known issue with DLP's some people see rainbows in the projection due to a slow color segment wheel AFAIK. I still have these projectors and I have been monitoring the projecor market for something reasonable to come along.Spent a lot of time comparing cheap projectors of which there are many! and after some time this is the one that I thought might be worth a try. So with my accrued Xmas and Birthday money I ordered a lx60hd.Was an easy setup via google and everything works very smoothly on this smart projector. Very imrpessed with image quality and funcionality for the price, auto screen calibration appears to work most of the time, you may have to push button again to get it right.Overall the Build qulity is very nice, has what you need connection wise, though sound isn't great but does the job and the fan isn't too loud when watching movies etc and you can add a BlueTooth sound bar or Headphones. Fan noise rated at 40db but it isn't an annoying sound like my other projectors. So if your looking for a new toy that won't break the bank and might come in handy then this is well worth the money. Yes I was tempted to try one of the many cheap and cheerful options available on Amazon, but having learn't from experience, it is always better to go for a known brand. All in all very surprised at what you get for the cost of this device, this time I feel like I will use this projector as it is portable, just connect to a mobile hotspot if your not in vaccinity of internet, point it at the wall and away you go, streaming heaven! and up to a 140 inches! crazy! After a couple of weeks using the projector regularly I can honestly say it's been awesome for streaming enetrtainment on my bedroom wall whilst the Mrs watches reality tv on the TV, not my bag at all, she was last watching Dubai bling! like who cares how the wealthy live their wonderful fake lives, absolutely meaningless garbage and thank the gods for this projector that gives me that Home Cinema feeling in bed when watching what I want to watch, wow!Only issue I had is the week after a bought it they dropped the price to £280 from £299, this did annoy me just a little. I could have sent it back and re-ordered to take advantage of the price drop but I could not be bothered but was tempted.

A very capable projector punching above its weight with only a couple of flaws.
A compact, very well built projector with some excellent features. The GoogleTV integration is excellent, the image resizing and corner adjustment tech is one of the simplest and most intuitive that I have ever used, and the image quality blows many other projectors at even double the price out of the water. I was very happy to see that despite the advertising saying it uses up to 600watts of power, this projector is sipping 110watts from the wall in general use.I bought this without there being much in the way of reviews beforehand but on the whole I'm reasonably happy with it though it does have some let downs:The brightness level has very limited adjustability. The Optoma that this projector is replacing had multiple power saving modes which made the image easier on the eyes in a pitch black room and saved some power. This Viewsonic has no brightness modes at all so can be uncomfortably bright in very dark rooms. Eco/Dynamic mode doesn't appear to do anything except make the fan louder. The GoogleTV interface takes a long time to load when the projector is first turned on so getting to a point where you can open the app you want and start watching something can take up to a minute. The fan noise while not deafening is definitely noticeable in a quiet room. It's not enough to ruin the viewing experience but it is sufficiently loud that you don't just naturally tune it out like you can with other projectors. The autofocus is very hit and miss... and it's usually a miss. It gets very close to being in focus but always needs a manual adjustment via the remote to get it perfectly dialled in.

Turns off by itself
Great projector for the price but unfortunately mine after 2 hours of use started turning off by it self so I'll be turning it. android system works well for a low budget projector. Brightness was surprising and turns on fast this is a led projector

Great picture, average sound
This is a decent projector, it is very nicely made and the image is great quality for TV and movies. In a dark room it is absolutely fantastic, you can get away with a few small lights on and the picture will still be great. In a lit room it isn't the best, you can see the picturebut it is quite washed out (normal for projectors in the price range). It's only 60Hz so not really for gamers but it does have a game setting.Sound quality is ok, it's a bit boxy and doesn't go super loud, but it's loud and clear enough for most users, just not amazing. You can use Bluetooth or aux to supply audio to external speakers, that's probably the best option. The interface is responsive and has all of the usual apps, and they all work well. I got decent WiFi reception, so no issues with steaming or lag. There's lots of options too, auto focus, manual focus and a bunch of options for you to manually play with and if you want it to auto calibrate. It has auto keystone which adusts the image to angle of the wall/screen, I found that it sometimes needs to be run twice for it to get the shape and focus correct. The remote is very good, works from anywhere and you don't even have to point it at the unit. This unit works best when it has less than a 5 degree angle, when it's flat you get a super crisp image all over the screen, the more you angle it, the more part of the screen will be out of focus. Keep it on a flat surface and aim it straight and you'll be very happy, if you plan on putting it at a steep angle, this isn't for you. For my use it is excellent, sat on a table in front of me.I'm happy with it.
