Could this cut through 1/2" foam core board?

the blade is designed to score to area to be cut about a 1/4" into wallboard. reverse procedure on the other side will tap out. if your material is like drywall 2 outer layers of heavy paper and gypsum inner soft core, then it may work.

I bought this a few months ago, and the pin in the middle snapped, what can i use to replace this?

Wthat I would do is remove the pin try replacing with the and off a drill that fits into then on the grinding sharp so you make the tip

Will this work on a hollow bedroom wood door?

For a wood floor you would need a drill and a whole saw.

Does this actually cut a hole through drywall or just mark it for a saw?

A little of both, you can use it to cut but would have to circle around several time. I used it for cutting the paper and then I used a saw for the final cut

Had to install ceiling lights with an unusual diameter size. Could not access drywall from other side of ceiling so I only was able to start the cut from the Lighting side. It made a perfect starter cut. I then used a utility knife to cut right trough the drywall. Worked perfectly. Of course if you have the opportunity to access both sides of the drywall you're supposed to make a cut on either side and the drywall just pops out.
