It' does the job . It's worth the money . For the price.

The phone arrived in good packaging, it was not damaged in any way. Worked well. Connected easily using the wires obtained. The speaker also works and so does the caller ID. It looks as it is in the image, the glass buttons and the colour is the same. it has all the features mentioned and the battery life is good, it recharges easily once left on the dock. it is black and silver as the images show, perfect for the kitchen and also the room. it can do call blocking, where you can silence it and the call doesn't affect you.

Based on the 1 and 2 star reviews, I decided to wait a month before I gave my review. I am very satisfied with the phone’s performance and its easy of use. The transmitted sound is clear, and the received sound is also clear. Vtech also provides a printed User’s Manual, which is a rare thing these days. All that being said, I do have a few comments. Photo #1 shows the Vtech shipping carton as received. Fortunately, there was no damage to the contents inside. But Amazon decided the Vtech carton was adequate for shipping and didn’t require their carton. Photo #2 shows the hand set mounted in its docking station, and it’s a very nice-looking presentation, if you do not include the wall mount. Photo #3 shows the hand set in its docking station using the wall mounting attachment. Pretty ugly! To further make my point, Photo #4 shows just the docking station and wall mount. It appears the wall mount has a multifunctional application, as suggested by “A” arrows pointing in one direction and “B” arrows pointing in the opposite direction. As a cost savings, you now notice the ugly wall mount and not the attractive phone and docking station.

Bought these phones for my mom. Tried to keep it simple for her. Call quality is fine. Also the speaker phone she likes. The directory is a little bit of a challenge for her. The names added goes in alphabetical order by their first name which is retarded. Unsure if I would recommend but works for my mom.

My old V-Tech landline phone finally died. This V-Tech pair replacement has several improvements and only a few small downsides. The screen and buttons are substantially larger, making it much easier to read and use this phone. Calls come through clearly (on speakerphone too) and you can do all the regular stuff one might expect. The #1 button is dedicated to voice mail. Once the vm call number is programmed, all I have to do is press 1 to access it. No more scrolling through my list or having to look it up so a definite plus. Criticisms: 1) I wish the base for the main phone was a little deeper. If the set is not positioned precisely, the charge won't connect (as evidenced by charge light not showing red). Also the set is easily knocked over, (becoming a toy on the floor for my cat who thinks this is a plus feature designed with him in mind). I do not have this same problem with the base for the extension phone. 2) I may have misunderstood the description but I expected the #1 button voice mail icon would light up when messages were waiting. My old set had a light on the base that signaled I had them. Alas nothing indicates messages anywhere so I routinely check voicemail when the screen says there were missed calls. Nonetheless, I am way more pleased than not so this gets 5 stars from me. Update 1//24/2025: My provider recently updated my cable/internet/phone service and since then, the calls received on this phone that go to voicemail result in the voicemail envelope icon showing up on the phone screen whereas before they did not. What I thought was an issue with the phone itself was actually provider-related. Apologies to VTech!

I guess you get what you pay for. I have had several people tell me that even though I am on a landline now there will be a period of time when we are talking that they can’t hear me or the phone will cut out just like as if I was in a bad cell reception area, which should not be happening on a landline. This is the whole reason why I ended up getting a landline was because no one could ever hear me on my cell phone, but this didn’t even solve the problem. Disappointed. Also, the volume is too low on these.

great cordless phone

I bought this set to replaced a Uniden setup that had literally fallen apart because the plastics disintegrated. It all works well enough and has a few nice features like the intercom system and the fact that the handsets share entries in the address book without having to enter the same information multiple times. Functionally, it's all fine, especially when considering the price. However, I did encounter one negative aspect, of which I thought potential buyers should be aware: Included in this set is a sort of "universal" wall-mount adapter that, when paired with this particular model, is a hilarious abomination of one-size-fits-all gone terribly awry. See the bottom photo on the left that depicts the phone mounted to the wall? Yeah, the actual product isn't nearly so easy on the eyes. I'm sure that configuration is possible with one model of this product but this isn't it. There are slots on the back of the main charging station marked "B" that correspond to the "B" posts on the mount and, when assembled, form a misshapen Frankenstein's monster of an eyesore (see photos). According to the instructions that came packaged in the box, despite all appearances to the contrary, this is, in fact, correct. Yikes. I thought I might be able to free up a little desk space by wall-mounting the phone but I guess that's out the window now. Granted, this may not be an issue for many customers but that this was considered an acceptable use case for this product is wild to me. Also, the handset locator button in the back of the base for some odd reason instead of the front, clearly defined and marked, like every other cordless phone I've used in the past 35 years for...reasons?

The product box received was damaged and looked like it was already opened before. The units were not charging at all.
