The kit comes with lots of items, and the tools are surprisingly good quality for the price. Although the network tester doesn’t seem to work, everything else functions great. The carrying case is also sturdy and well-designed.

I work as a an electronics technician and needed some tools for work. Overall , The tools are good quality for the price. Don’t expect Klein or Southwire but these get the job done! Terminated some pass throughs and some punch down keystones and the tools worked great , easy and a bang for your buck. Let’s hope they stay good for awhile

All your essential tools in one place, sharp and easy to use

I run a computer consulting firm. The IT consultant who tested this kit has done hundreds if not thousands of Ethernet cable ends over 20+ years. We evaluated this kit not as a professional quality one but one for the casual user who might need to work with Ethernet cables here and there. My rating is based on casual use. Results of testing: Two patch cables were made and ends put on a run at a client. Two of the six ends were bad and had to be re-crimped. Cable stripper worked well. We were not able to test the ends because the wires in our Ethernet cables was too thick to use with the ends. We use high quality cat 6 cable most of the time. The cable tester worked. It is pretty basic but showed when the ends were not working correctly. The little cutters probably won't last long. After using them twice it struggled making another cut. Punch down tool was not tested. As reported, some items worked very well but others did not or were fading fast after minimal use. I hate to give any product one star, but when product fails to do what it promises or worse causes rework for you, there are better products out there even for the casual user. The all in one kit was a good idea but the tools need to be a decent quality suitable to do some reasonable number of Ethernet cable ends even for casual use.
