Works great for home BBQ
Got this to do Korean BBQ at home and it actually works really well. The nonstick surface makes a big difference — meat doesn’t stick much and cleanup is way easier than I expected. It heats up pretty evenly, and the design helps drain some of the grease, so it doesn’t feel too oily when cooking. I’ve used it a few times already and it’s been solid. Not exactly the same as restaurant KBBQ, but definitely good enough if you just want to grill at home without the hassle. Overall pretty happy with it.

Finally! The missing piece!
The idea of this was phenomenal. I have been in search for this for a long time. Whats so good about it? Everything! As listed and will be compared to my regular electric grill -Size 5/5 Immaculate on heat distribution and food allocation perfect size! I could not be more happier! It doesnt accumulate buring on one side like my electric rectangle grill. -Food color and taste 5/5 As this is gas and not electric cooking, it taste and looks much better than the electric. -Cleaning 6/5 It is just amazing and easy! Unlike the electric grill, you have you remove a 24 x 10 grill so you can hand clean it plus you need to remove the catch pan, clean surroundings and all that. Compared to this its just as easy as 123. Literally let it cool and straight to the sink to clean it. Huge time saving! The oil catch bowl that they offer is a bit high price for me but youre regular stainless steel or glass bowl will work as the oil dripping down wont be too high temp and cools down fairly quick depending on what oil you use as i use butter for better taste. Electric Grill costing at 80 - This plus propane stone 40-80 if you have a gas stove then you would only need the grill pan. Its good for the price i would even stretch it that its best for the price and quality of food from start to finish. This has exceed my expectations!

GEN Korean BBQ at home!
We love Korean Barbecue and we always look forward to dining out at Korean restaurants that specializes in do-it-yourself cooking of assorted meats, seafood, and vegetables. Dining out gets expensive and we’ve been researching an ideal grill to have at home. We’ve considered our place with little ventilation and read into numerous reviews from YouTube and blogs on what to purchase. After doing intensive research and comparison to other grills, we came upon on the TeChef stove top grill. Our household is particularly picky about cookware and we tend to use the more expensive cookware to get desired results especially with our meat. The Teflon material with the 5 layer coating met our expectations. The results of the food is delicious and is taste just as delicious as you would find at a Korean restaurant and there’s countless of meat cuts, assorted seafood and vegetables that you place on the grill. The nonstick yet study grill makes cleaning a breeze. No intense scrubbing necessary, the brunt marks and heavy amounts of oils still stuck on the grill easily comes off without having to put in elbow grease when hand washing your grill. It’s also a bonus for those that prefer to utilize the dishwasher since the product is dishwasher safe and I haven’t had any issues regarding using the dishwasher but be sure to . Keep in mind that Teflon can also be easily scratched so be aware of the utensils and the type of sponge you use. We use wooden chopsticks, silicon tongs, and any non abrasive sponge to maintain our grill. Another feature that we love is how the design of the grill drains the fat. The dome design allows the fat to drop down to the grease draining hole. The only issue is that you need to come up with a collecting cup to collect the grease, which makes the grill NOT suitable for a stove top. Because of the draining hole feature, we do not recommend this grill for those that want to utilize the stove top since that are other grills on the market that can alternate between the stove top and a portable stove top. Our rating scale Design: 5/5 Utility: 5/5 Effectiveness: 5/5 Noticeable flaws: None that we can see! Can I use it on my gas stove or do I have to buy a portable gas stove? You can use your own gas stove, but this product is more enjoyable when cooking with friends and family on a portable gas stove! Also the side drain to drain the meat will be in the way of you grilling on your stove as well. How long does the teflon coating last? We're currently at a few months in and so far so good (knock on wood!) Where is it made? It is made in Korea and distributed in the United States. Our answers to the frequently asked questions: Overall, if you're looking for a great BBQ grill to enjoy eating sizzling meat at home, then this grill is for you. We suggest picking up the GAS ONE GS-3000 Portable Gas Stove with Carrying Case, 9,000 BTU, CSA Approved, Black as an accompaniment stove for this particular grill. Like our review? Great for korean food night.
I only had a chance to use this item once but man it does work like a champ. I cooked pork belly and short ribs on it and everything cooked perfectly. I didnt have to add any oil at all to keep it non stick. The item feels really sturdy and seems to be of top quality made. It comes with a lifetime guarantee from the manufacturer as long as its not because of abuse or improper cleaning such as using a copper brush to clean it. Cleaning it was super easy as all i had to use was a soft sponge with soap. At first from the picture it seems like the circle designs on the item were sticking out so it would make it harder to clean but dont worry about that. The circles are just designs on it and do not stick out at all. The grease drains through the swirls out of the hole on the side. Only complaint i had was that when using the portable stove that i have, the drain hole is just about 1/4 of an inch or so short of reaching the bowl i put to catch the grease. It could just be because of the type of stove i had but it wasnt anything major at all. I fixed it by macguyvering a lil piece of foil and making a gutter type contraption from the hole to the bowl. only took me about 10 seconds to do, henceforth the 4 stars. I would give it a 4.75 actually if i could but settled for a 4 since i cant. Lastly i think the teflon coating goes all the way around the item making even the bottom and everywhere easy to clean. All in all I would totally recommend this to friends and would definately buy again if i ever had to.

Heavy duty, works well
Pan has some weight so it keeps it's temperature relatively stable, as compared to a cheaper, lighter one I had previously. My family uses these pans on top of butane stoves every new years eve to cook up veggies and meats and eat it right from the pan. There's a drain hole, which I put a diy oil catch to capture all the excess oil. Very easy to clean, the non-stick seems to work well enough even after a year of use.

Great grill pan
This is a great grill pan. It heats up quickly and easy to set up. Most importantly, it is nonstick and easy to clean. I used it twice and just clean it with soapy water. Only concern is not sure how long the nonstick coat will hold. But based on other reviews, it should last for a while.

Awesome Quality Grill Plate!
1st review based on material and design: Superb quality grill plate. You can see the images I've uploaded - the oil dripping slots are deep, the surface has a purplish tint and is made of some high quality materials unlike some of the cheaper grills out there. The coating definitely will last (though I have yet to use it). It sits on any butane stove top burner quite easily and because the design of the grill has a slant (towards the dripping hole), you can be sure all the oil will drip out of that hole. Attached also is an image of the clearance you get from setting this grill plate on top of the butane burner. You can put a small bowl to collect the oil from the hole with enough clearance. Overall it is a fantastic build quality grill and I'm going to update this review with how it performs! The packaging shows it's made in Korea and the center of the plate is not flat but caved upwards (convex) and this allows for food oils to slide down. There is also ample groves to channel all the oil away. Definitely worth the price! Updated (2/21/2016): See attached image with a shot of food cooking on the grill. I thought I'd give it a few tries at using this grill top before posting a review about the actual product quality when cooking with real food. I have to say that this grill is absolutely fantastic! Foods cook super fast and that's with the butane burner at about LOW temperature! Oily fats burn off the meats and slide right onto the sides and then into the drain hole then into the collection bowl I have set up. Every food cooks fast and throughly and meats especially grill with great efficiency and tastes great! I've NOT CLEANED THE GRILL ONCE except for a little bowl of water and paper napkins to wipe it all off. The dirty water flows into a bowl and discarded while the paper napkins wipe all the burned fats and charred pieces of meat away. The top remains the same as when I first bought it and does not seem to be wearing out at all. Very easy to clean fast and store after it cools. I would highly recommend using this type of grill for red meats and even seafood is great. BUT do not turn up your butane burner to even medium because it just isn't necessary. Even heat is available at low burner settings within 30 seconds. I cook all the meats with ZERO OIL ADDED. Just put the raw meats on top and it cooks. Meats without fats won't stick to the great non-stick surface. Overall I am extremely please and having used this grill more than SIX times now, I am very confident to tell you that you NEED TO BUY THIS GRILL if you are an indoor grill person. It will enhance all flavor of meat cooked over this grill top and clean up is just stupid easy.

Quality premium product and great dining experience
Wow.. With the unpredictable British weather, every household needs one of these! First meal - yakiniku was a big success. So simple - no need for long marinades, just throw on sliced veg (onion, aubergine, spring onion, small green sweet peppers, and thinly sliced meat - I used sirloin and some thicker cut pork belly. Make some simple dipping sauces (I used a wasabi salt bought in Japan and Japanese soy/Mirin mix). You could easily do skewers too. Serve with Japanese or Korean rice and beer of course! I'm familiar with Korean and Japanese bbq style eating as I spent 3 years in Japan and have experienced Korean bbqs in Korea. Its a very sociable way to eat around the table. Cook your own the way you like it. It took my back to the smells in yakitori restaurants. My wife is Japanese and we can't wait to invite friends round for a meal which needs very little preparation and will surely impress. I was sceptical about it being smokeless but needn't have worried. Of course you'll need a window open ideally or an extractor fan on but you can't really burn anything unless you walk off and leave it for a while! The oil drainage hole works brilliantly and the unit is super easy to clean in minutes unlike a bbq grill that you need to scrub for hours. The product is very well made and feels like it will last. It def feels like a premium product. Any cheap butane gas canister camping stove will work. These are common for indoor cooking in Japan and Korea and they do more expensive and elaborate ones but a cheap one from camping shop is fine as long as you can regulate the temperature - we turned it up and down during cooking. I'm taking this on our next camping trip. Overall extremely happy. My only feedback would be to provide a cooking guide for anyone not familiar with this style. Just a few ideas would help and maybe some traditional Korean recipes. A few pictures of it in action would be good! Also if I was being fussy I'd say it could be slightly bigger to give more grilling space but I'm guessing size is so limited to the standard camping stove width. You'd need 2 or 3 set up if you had 6-10 people. I liked it so much that I'm looking at other products by Techef as the quality is excellent. If you're good at regulating temperatures on an outside bbq, you can of course cook over coals or on a gas griddle but this is a totally different experience. Enjoy!

Great Product
I tried this 3 times already since I bought it, it’s great for home Korean style dinners. it’s non-stick and cooks even with less oil and does not stick. Although, I received a call and messages from the seller insisting to leave a review by clicking on their link. It’s a red flag for me, so I choose to leave my feedback on the amazon app.
