I ordered this supposed hearthrug because I have an open fire and it seemed like a good idea. However, I won't be usng it for that - it will get relegated to outside for under a tabletop barbecue. That's because this is really visually unappealing. It's a very thin sheet of some shiny rubbery material. I tested it with a blowtorch and it seemed to be relatively fireproof - certainly enough to withstand a burning ember falling on it for long enough to remove the ember.I feel I'm being generous in giving this three stars, but it does work, and you could used it as a hearthrung or to cover your carpet in front of your fire, so long as you don't mind it looking like you'ce got a bit of plastic laid down! As a workshop mat to protect from soldering and blowtorches, it's fine, and I'd recommend for that.

While this heat-protecting mat serves its purpose, it falls short in terms of appearance. I prefer functional products that also look at least somewhat presentable, especially if they’re in a visible area of the house. Unfortunately, this mat is very thin and arrives with creases from being folded into a small square. These creases don't disappear over time, making the mat look cheap and unattractive.Will it protect surfaces from heat? Yes. Will I keep it in front of my fireplace? No.

He cogido esta esterilla para sustituir otra que tenia y que estaba ya muy viejita. Principalmente ésta es más grande que la que tenía antes, lo cual es ideal para cubrir más superficie, ya sea con la chimenea o la barbacoa. Ofrece una protección amplia y cubre bien el área frente a posibles chispas o ascuas (o incluso la grasa que cae de la barbacoa).Lo único que he notado es que parece un poco más fina en comparación con la esterilla anterior, así que, cuando caen ascuas, trato de quitarlas rápido para asegurarme de que el calor no traspase. A pesar de eso, por ahora no he tenido ningún problema, y cumple con su función de mantener el suelo protegido de chispas y restos calientes.

Ce tapis ignifugé offre plusieurs atouts, même si je trouve qu’il a un prix un peu élevé, je suppose que c’est dû au traitement nécessaire pour le rendre efficace. Il est par ailleurs peu esthétique, l’agrémenter d’un dessin ou de couleur aurait été un plus.✅ Une bonne dimension✅ une facilité d’entretien✅ Une résistance au feu, à l’eau et à l’huile✅ Pliable, on peut le déplacer facilement.

Provato su fiamma aperta per qualche secondo. Non si è sciolto. Significa che per l'uso a cui è destinato è più che adeguato.Abbastanza morbido nella consistenza. Buon acquisto.
