Double Ended (DE) Synthetic Backcombed Dreadlocks 18 inch - Bone Collector

So far I have only used the elastic matrix but, it works great to keep the ends of my braids down on the dreads so much better than just rubber bands. I had my left hand amputated in 2017, so I can no longer put my own extensions in but, the Doctored Locks videos were a super help for my hubby to learn to braid my dread extensions in for me. My hubby went from barely being able to do a normal braid in my 8 yr old daughter's hair, to being able to put my SE dreads in really well(they stay in for weeks without slipping). I just ordered some backcombed DE dreads from Doctered Locks to try. With the help from your videos my hubby is sure to make them look great when he puts them in. Your videos made it so easy for my hubby to learn and made it possible for me to wear extensions again. THANK YOU SO MUCH 🖤 I can't wait to receive my new set of dreads this week.Update: I just got my backcombed DE dreads in last week, and they even arrived early. My hubby put them in a few days ago and I love the. Beautiful colors. Holding up great and very soft and flexible. A bit heavier than my other crochet one but, I have already gotten use to it tho. I can not wait to place my next order.Bought several sets at this point and I still love them. Newest hair done in vintage Rose and wildfire.

They are very nice looking and easy to install. My only two complaints are that I don't like how much straight hair is in between the strand, it makes the dread look more grown out than new and natural looking. Also, these dreads tend to unravel and frizz very quickly forcing me to almost constantly retwist and seal them a few times a week.

Absolutely beautiful. Great quality and easy to put in. Love the tapered ends, and terrific diameter (I like em a bit thin). The browns were a bit stiff until I washed them, but the other colors I got were really soft.

I was accidentally sent the SE dreads but tbh I'm really satisfied with this happy lil accident. The single ended dreads ended up being perfect for what I did with my hair. Thank you doctored locks!

These did not react in UV or blacklight, and because the material they're made from is rough, these dreads tear apart the other softer dreads made by the same brand. They are shaped nice but no point in having them ruin the other dreads when they don't even glow. Now I have to buy a whole new set.

These were the first dreadlocks I've ever purchased and I really like them however I recently purchased wool dreadlocks and I like those a lot more. I love the green and the brown and I got many compliments on these dreadlocks, I also gave them a lil extra something with string lol. I also did purchase the white ones but I made the mistake of purchasing the ones that weren't backcombed... don't be like me, get the backcombed.

So i was curious to see if Platinum and Bone collector where the same color. I was hoping that they were not as i wanted different colors, but they r infact the same color. Its cool. I cnt wait to wear them. I just thought id answer the question tht i had in case others had the same.

They feel itchy, stiff and plastic like. They aren't very comfortable to have it touch your skin. Would be nicer if they were made from softer material. I used both single ended and double ended.Took 30 DE and 20 SE to do 2/3 of my head.They are heavier than I thought.
