The latest trend in power tools is selling the tools separately from the battery packs required to use them. That's the situation I faced when I picked up my Milwaukee rotary tool. I didn't expect to have a problem finding a Milwaukee battery pack, but I got sticker shock when I saw the prices. I immediately started looking for 3rd-party compatible Milwaukee battery packs, and when I saw this 2 pack with charger for about the same price as a single Milwaukee battery pack, I snapped it up.The battery appears to be fully compatible with my Milwaukee rotary tool. The battery snaps in without issue, though it is a little tight and requires some force to slide it in and out. Once installed, the rotary tool worked with no problems. When I removed the battery pack, the tool didn't work, so I verified that the battery pack was supplying the power (I'm scientific that way). The charger works as expected, though I didn't stick around to time how long it took, nor did I try to drain the battery before recharging it. Suffice to say it charges the battery pack.Though the vendor describes this as a replacement for the Milwaukee battery pack, it works just fine as the original pack if you don't have a Milwaukee battery to replace it with. Given the high cost of the originals, this compatible 2-pack (with charger!) is highly recommended.
