lightweight quick absorbing non-sticky and 10%!
Finally! A lightweight quick absorbing non-sticky 10% tranexamic acid serum with clinically proven supporting ingredients to tackle hyperpigmentation and melasma. I had purchased 7+ tranexamic serums searching for a nonsticky meaningful formula and read about this one.Additional skincare ingredients info/routine/results:I layer this tranexamic acid serum with a 20% L-ascorbic acid serum (pure vitamin C), an additional 2% alpha arbutin serum, and 15% Azelaic acid. I do usually wait 10-30 mins in between depending on the ingredient.I'm currently hunting for an easy 3-4% kojic acid serum to add to the mix to increase the potency. In the evenings I also use .20 retinal (retinaldehyde) aka vitamin A (a retinoid) which only has one step to convert to Retinoic acid (i began with .05 and increased the % every 2-3 weeks).FYI - unlike retinol, which requires two steps to convert to the pure form of retinoic acid and it loses some efficacy/potency along the way (it also happens to be a bit harsh for the skin to acclimate). Retinal has had the most impact on improving my skin (collagen, crows feet that were beginning to form are gone, improved my melasma and hyperpigmentation, and underlying redness is gone).I also use a several signal communicating peptides at their studied maximum recommended %'s: Syn Tacks 1%, Matrixl 3000 8%, Syn Coll 3%, Matrixyl Synthe-6 2%,Uplevity 2%, Syn-Ake 5%, Relistase 4%, and many more :-) Yes I'm throwing everything at the wall since I skincare was not in my vocabulary until about a yr ago...not even a moisturizer :-/I'm 47 and for the first time began skincare in Dec 2023 after a lengthy research period and my reflection. Honestly I still frequently research products and read supporting studies. With my detailed skincare routine I have been able to take many years off and reverse quite a bit of sun damage (i'm a 90's kid who tans easily, didn't used to care for sunscreen, and began paying the price mid-forties).My primary issue is the constant struggle with melasma and keeping the hyperpigmentation in check.Tranexamic acid at a meaningful % is a necessary ingredient in the tool box. Thrilled I finally found a serum that works for me and layers easily with friendly ingredients. If I remember in 8-12 weeks, I’ll circle back with a results update.

Skin feels and looks nice
This feels a little tingly upon application. It does absorb well and I can not detect any smell. My skin looks and feels wonderful. I use it a couple of times a week.

Give it time…
I have a dark spot on my face that I’m trying to lighten. A dermatologist started out on it with that liquid nitrogen sprayer they love so much. This definitely helped, but did not eliminate, the dark spot. So I’ve been using over-the-counter skincare products to try to blanch the area further, and I do think these work so long as you are patient. This one is a thin, clear, colorless and odorless serum. It spreads easily, dries quickly, and is not at all oily or sticky once dry. I haven’t experienced any adverse effects (no redness, swelling, stinging, itching, or peeling). There’s an expiration date on the bottom of the box that is 3 years from the date of manufacture. (I received my bottle 2 months after the manufacturing date.) I am using it in combination with other products, including a Vitamin C serum, a retinoid (at night), and daily application of sunscreen. Because I use multiple products, it’s difficult to know which product is providing the greatest benefit. The key is to remember that improvement will be slow, but patience is gradually rewarded. But since my facial dark spot was previously lightened by a dermatologist, I can’t tell you what might happen if you use this de novo on a darkly pigmented area.

Pretty packaging, product works
Absorbs well and doesn't have an overpowering scent. The packaging is nice. The dropper isn't a cheap one and dispenses product easily. My skin feels nicely hydrated when I use this and it seems to be helping the darker areas under my eyes.

Gentle on the skin
It's been just a few weeks, so I can't comment on the results yet (because I haven't seen any yet). But I can say that it is gentle, even on sensitive areas like the neck or around my eyes. It is not greasy and feels comfortable. I tend to use it at night just to be on the safe side with sunlight. I am happy so far.
