Handmade Scottish Scotch Tablet Sugar Retro Sweet Shop Traditional Old Fashioned Candy (200g)

Given to a 101year old Scottish woman who loves Scottish tablet and loved this.

This definitely isn’t gift able. It comes in a big plastic bag.It’s more like fudge than tablet and quite sticky so it flakes off and starts to look like mush.I think it would be better off in a box because once opened it needs to be eaten pretty quickly so that it doesn’t start to rot or grow mould but if you do eat it quickly it’ll definitely rot your teeth!!!! There does seem to be a vanilla like taste which I wasn’t expecting.Probably nice treat for a party and I suppose you could divide it into little bags or boxes but it’s quite sweaty so it’ll leave marks on packaging if cellophane isn’t used.I did like it but I think I’d be trying a different brand in the future.Given the price I’d expect better packaging but you do get a good amount for the price.

This fudge is like heaven to me. I've lost count now how many times I've reordered it! Never disappoints. It reminds me of the fudge my mom used to make when I was a child. Definitely give it a go!!

Tastes just like how I remember Tablet tasting.Extremely rich, big pieces can only eat a couple its so sweet.Big enough bag to split up and put a few pieces into smaller gift bags with a ribbon to give away as little thank you's.
