Simple and effective way to add grip training to pull ups
Very good product. The day I received the item (the delivery was far faster than I expected, by the way), I hanged the balls from my pull up bar and did several short sets of pull ups throughout the day. The soreness in my forearms the next day caught me by surprise. The wood is smooth enough to grip comfortably, but not slippery. Being compact and lightweight, they are easy to fit into gym bag. If used at home, the naked wood tends to blend in with most furnishings far better than the brighter colours other such products tend to come in. Of course, you can always stain or paint them to your taste. In addition to pull ups, these could be used for a variety of exercises, such as farmer's carry.

Big hard balls...
Perfectly machined balls which fit nicely into a mans open hand.Used to further my front levers and with a loading pin, to better the direct lift of dead weights.Looking for a massive 30cm or bigger 1 now for compression work...

Really helping my grip strength for climbing
Got these to help with my climbing grip. I chalk up and hold on to them whilst shifting my weight around to simulate movement on the climbing wall. The burn I get in my forearms from these is incredible. I also wrap the cord around my 20 and 28KG kettle bells and lift it. Feel great. Really pleased I got these and not the plastic ones I saw.

Nice, but expensive for what they are
Useful, provide a tough workout, but at the end of the day they are just wooden balls on strings... for very little more you can get some really nice metal ones, and for only £10 or so more you can get something like the RolyBalls from Lapis which are excellent (made from the same stuff as climbing wall holds, with a very heavy duty bolt). That's what I did in the end, and I returned these.

Solid well built a must for grip strength
Increasing my grip strength has been helped ten fold thanks to these grip balls, at the start I could barely grip them but within a week of heavy use I'm already seeing vast improvements, the balls themself feel nice and well built, the wood can be compressed if you use them as push up blocks but I don't think this will effect the longevity of the item

Great for using at home, away from gym
Wood great quality, rope at first looks a bit thin. But could change if you wanted easily. I haven’t, 76kg with no issues

Knot gets in the way
Only gave them a three as the knot is quite big and could do with being recessed into the ball.
