Fantastic product, Probably the best transmission fluid on the market
This stuff is fantastic, I'm never going with another transmission fluid ever again. My car shifts SO much smoother now both while cold and warmed up. It's so much less notchy. I drive a genesis coupe, and they have a tendency to grind 1st to 2nd or even 2nd to 3rd if you're driving "spiritedly". It happened to me several times and it was always such a horrible, cringe inducing feeling where I felt so bad to my poor car. After using this fluid I have yet to ever have this problem. Granted I've also upgraded the trans mount to polyurethane, and upgraded the shifter to a chassis mounted short shifter assembly. But still, this fluid is just the cherry on top. It shifts like a freaking dream now. Well worth the extra money. Grinding gears will eventually lead to a destroyed transmission, if this fluid keeps that problem from happening then I say an extra 30 bucks for a transmission fluid change over other brands is WELL worth it. It's such a joy to row through the gears now.

awesome improvment
I put this in a 2010 Nissan Altima Coupe - 6 speed manual. I live in Colorado, so you can imagine at times temperatures here are less than tropical. Over time my car really didn't like cold weather, in terms of going into gear, most noticeable when down shifting when it was below 0. At times I would have to fight a bit to get the gear I wanted, as the syncros would dislike the idea of the gear selection I made when it was brutally cold. So I decided to give this a try. I drained the MT-85 in my car - replaced it with this - the entire process took under 20 mins. Very quick, very easy to do. Call it easier than an oil change in most ways. I put in this fluid, after about 5 miles of driving I found myself grinning as my car moved through gears like it never had before. Even brand new my car never shifted as well, as smooth. This fluid honestly made my car - with a lot of miles on it now - drive better than it ever has, including when I drove it off the lot with the dealer plates on it. I can't say enough about how such a simple - easy - low cost - thing improved the drivability of my car. Everyone should put this in their manual gear boxes *get the right weight for your car* - just great. Mad I waited so long to do it. ----- ------ ----- for those interest in how to do this on an Altima - it is very easy as I said ------ ------ ----- Pull out your air intake - like you would to change your air filter - except remove the whole box, there is one Philips screw holding in the air box with the mass air flow sensor in it - it is located right next to your strut mount on the drivers side. Leave the mass air flow sensor hooked up and everything, you just need to move it out of the way a bit. Look down into your engine bay - about 4 inches to the left of your master cyclender you will see a 10 mm bolt holding down the fill hole for your MT fluid. Remove this 10 mm bolt - then just pull the fill hole cover off. Done with opening it, up top - a few mins. Now jack up the car, leave the tires on - see easier than an oil change - locate the drain plug right below the fill hole. this is a 10 mm Hex bolt. put a pan under it, remove the bolt, let the fluid drain. Put the bolt back in, remove the pan with the old fluid, lower the car. In total this takes just a few mins. Now . . . I just put a plain old funnel in the MT fluid fill hole. there is enough room you don't need to use a tube. Open the first bottle of fluid, put your thumb over the opening so you can put its opening into the funnel without spilling it. Remove your thumb from the bottle and let it go into the funnel, into your car. Open the second bottle - measure out 700 ml - pour that 700 Ml into the empty bottle you just put into your car. Now simply put your thumb over the bottle opening, so you can get it into the funnel without spilling, let it drain into your car. Replace the fill cap and bolt - put your air intake back in place - I changed my air filter while I was int here - and your done. Nothing to it. very easy.

Smooth shifts and good quality.
2017 Cruze diesel 6 speed manual. Feels great much better than the oem fluid after 65k miles. Smooth shifts no resistance even when it was 30degrees.

Changed from mt90 to mt85, Great fluid!
I have a 2005 Hyundai Elantra with 100,000 miles. I put in MT-90 before, 30,000 miles ago, due to the fact that I couldn't get the MT-85 quick enough. The MT-90 ran great but I wanted to go to the correct weight for my vehicle. That is why I switched. I have seen the same smooth shifting that I had with the MT-90. This vehicle tends to grind when doing quick shifts from first to second and 90 removed that issue and it has not returned with the 85 either. I have noticed that the MT-85 feels different driving when compared to the MT-90. I would say smoother and less resistance/free'r spinning but I will attribute this to being all in my head. I love the redline fluids. Knowing that this is full synthetic I know it will last longer than most regular fluid out there. The added piece of mind is worth the added cost and I would put redline MTF in any future vehicles as well.

Works great in my MKIV Jetta
This works great in my 2001 Jetta 5spd (MKIV 02J) My transmission has over 200k miles on it. I've changed the fluid at 100k, then at 150k with Pennzoil synchromesh because of a worn 2nd to 3rd gear synchro, and then again at 200k with MT-85 MT-85 must be a newer product because I was not aware of this before. I have read many, many posts in the forums about people talking about how the MT-90 is great in the summer but a bit too thick for the winter. Those same people were saying that MTL is great in the winter but too thin for the summer. So I figured that MT-90 was too thick for my transmission for winter use, and that MTL which is like a MT-80 or something would be great for winter but too thin for the summer (like the Pennzoil synchromesh). So far, this MT-85 gear oil works perfect in my transmission in both warm and cooler weather. It feels sooo much better to shift than the Pennzoil synchromesh, which was recommended to me by others. However, that one was not GL-4 certified like my transmission requires. So I switched it out asap to this MT-85. Even though this gear oil is spec'd for Nissans or something, it works perfect with my VW 02J. The smart people in the forums mix 50/50 MTL and MT-90 anyway, which would be closest to the MT-85 as I understand it and as those people speculate. This product effectively eliminates the need to mix and match 2 different gear oils. 5000 miles later, this MT-85 gear oil works perfectly in my transmission. If I remember, I will give a 10k, 15k, 20k, and beyond updates on how this gear oil holds up... That is if my car lasts that long! lol NOTE: This review is for my particular transmission which is the VW 02J 5 speed transmission. These are very picky gearboxes with regards to gear oil. This gear oil works great with my gearbox, but your mileage may vary.

El mejor
Mejor aceite del mundo. 100% sintetico. Lo compre para un volvo s60 que en invierno cuando arrancava el coche el canvio iva tan duro que tenia que poner la marcha casi a golpes no se que aceite llevava pero ahora va igual de fino en frio bajo como en caliente.
