Top of the line Monitor or Hi-Fi Speaker .
Still breaking mine in so i will be brief on first assessment. Retired my Paradigm Shift A2 for more power . These baby do deliver sweet clean power and loads of it . 110w LF with 100w HF all A&B and bi-amped using Emotiva Caps and Resistors from their XP liine..5 year warranty also . Down side. Doesn't have 'Sleep Mode.' I plugged mine into a stand a lone power surge protector and cured that issue . As of now 10 hr's on them i can tell these are keepers for me . Crisp clean highs , Drums so real you want to play along . LF is coming along also . Time to time i get a taste of what will come . Again though i run them behind a Emotiva Stealth DAC1 with 'Balanced XLR cables' it is again like hearing my music all over again .Listening long periods have bought on no 'ear fatigue .' Audiophile all the way .Will post back in near future 4/28/14 . Up date . These Stealth 6's are just beautiful players . The power of these speakers is so clean no matter how loud you drive them no clipping before ear bleed . Sound pressure is to me part of the music and you can feel the artist intent . I will have these a long time cause of the accuracy, power and musicality . They honestly deliver everything Emotiva said . Course i will audition some other in the future but i well never sell these . And i don't think from price point that they can be beat ! Up-Date : 7/1/2014 These (Pro 6's) now have the combo of equipment they deserve . Pre-Amp Dac is now a Oppo HA-1 , Subwoofer is a SVS SB-2000. It is very fine sounding from Country to Classic Rock and all in between .

Big, beautiful sound.
I purchased these off of Emotiva's site. I write this having listened these for less than a week. When these were first hooked up, they were not the least bit impressive for the first couple of days. They were quite shouty and honky. The bass was a one note drone. This was to be expected, having owned a fair number of different set-ups. I do not know if this is attributed to psych-acoustics or burn-in....or perhaps a bit of both? Now, I find myself getting goose bumps and am just in awe of the sound coming out of these. I fail to articulate on capturing the various characteristics of speakers, in audiophile terminology, but I will say that the bass carries weight and goes deep, without being boomy. The mids, they are big and articulate. Dynamic comes to mind as well, because they can produce the subtle nuances with finesse as well. The treble is the best though. Extension, detail and articulation, without being hot or harsh. It's all in the magical heil air motion tweeter. The fit and finish is also very well done. The drivers fit flush and snug. The satin, matte finish is elegant. Weight and size? These things are beastly. I would say that these might be too big for most desks. Five feet wide and three foot deep would be the bare minimum size desk that I would place these on...unless you are like me and you make some modifications.I do not understand why these speakers have not had more buzz about them. This purchase is well worth the premium in price, compared to the Airmotiv 4, which sat on my desk for the past few years. Love, love, love these.
