I had been looking at swapping from our plastic chopping boards into something a bit more sustainable. Initially I had thought this stainless steel chopping board would solve all my problems but it falls a bit short for my liking.My first disappointment is with the anti-slip pads themselves. They have to be stuck on manually and, at least in my experience, the chopping board can still slide across the counter.The chopping board is very thin, so thin that it can flex when any pressure is placed on it, especially when cutting. One side has a series of numbers/letters etched in which would have been a magnet for bits of food (making it difficult to clean) had I not stuck the anti-slip pads to this side. It just doesn't feel like very premium for the price.Another worry, which admittedly I never considered before ordering, is that sharp knives will dull over time on this. After a few weeks of use, this looks a bit worse for wear with there being plenty of scratches on the cutting surface and after cleaning it's difficult to get water stains out. For that reason, I've relegated this board in our kitchen to simple cuts with our kitchen cutlery or for mashing burgers.The included hanging hooks, coupled with the thin board, does make this extremely easy for hanging on the inside of kitchen cupboard doors which is very handy.Overall, I've found this to be a massive disappointment for the price. In theory, it's a fantastic idea but the quality is just severely lacking here.

The media could not be loaded. Didn't like how thin it is, also didn't like the adhesives were quite poor, I prefer if they used nano transparent adhesives, and if it was maybe ½cm thick I would really like that much more. Currently this product is thin and it's quite sharp, the adhesives are poor quality and your going to want to DIY your own adhesives, even on the hooks, but the material itself is good steel strong quality.The hooks are there to hang the board and you have two areas you can hang it that's why you get 2 hooks in the box. I had some trouble putting on the adhesives, getting it accurate is an obsession of mine, and one of them was not accurate, but once you install it there's no taking it off without destroying it. It will also pull the paint off a wall.A little warning, be careful when handling this because it's thin and semi sharp.

This is a big plus for me as I’m trying to reduce plastic in my kitchen. The board comes with hooks, making it easy to store and keeping my countertop clutter-free.
