The best bang for your buck out there nothing can beat this guy
Yes this is a saver not a Rapier but for $30 this thing is absolutely gorgeous I even went and bought myself a used one the blade comes absolutely blunt about as thick as a nickel it feels good in the hand I have a similar saber that cost a little over $150 and I'm kind of mad because I'm pretty sure it was made by the same company and I just got down here to the other time but I was happy to pay the price

Looks nothing like the picture - Saber not a Rapier
What was pictured in the ad was not what was delivered. What is pictured on the box is nothing similar in quality to what is inside. First - what is shown by design, guard, and description is a "rapier" which is a slender blade used for fencing and stabbing. A "saber" is a broad heavier blade for slashing. There is a huge difference between what is used by a Musketeer or Zorro and that of a Civil War Cavalry officer. What was delivered was a saber, but a poor one. The guard by the grip is crude compared to what was shown and is missing the decorative ornate wire loops on the guard. The box shows raised or engraved writing (Confederate States of America) on the sword blade but where the writing is supposed to be is only crude blade staining. It is going back.

NOT A RAPIER.
So I should note that this sword is actually very well made, especially for the price. It's a gorgeous sword. The problem is with the product name. This sword is a saber, not a rapier. While the description says that, the item should not be called a rapier if it isn't one. I also feel like the word "confederate" should be in the title, or more prominently displayed-- while it's my fault for not looking closer at the description, I feel like "CSA" is an easy thing to confuse.

BUY THIS, ITS BETTER THAN A FRIDAY
Great decorative sword. The only downside is that the box came a bit broken but nothing serious.
