My boys absolutely LOVED putting these together and then racing them. They are 6 and 8 for reference and the younger one did struggle a little bit but persevered and was able to build the car all by himself! I think the fact that they actually got to build them made playing with them that much more rewarding and fun. And they drift! Honestly the quality is fantastic and think they are great value for money!

This car set came packaged very nicely and this makes it a nice gift for your little ones. The package includes every necessary accessory you need to build them, which was not difficult for adults to do but I think a little complicated for children even though they could rely on the manual. The cars are rechargeable while the remote controls require two batteries for each and were not included in the package. The cars work well, they are fun for children but considering the quality which for me is a cheap plastic the price is a bit high. Anyway this is just my opinion regarding the quality, overall they are nice.

A fun simple kit that's ideal for the inquisative kids. The parts are simple to put together, but there's enough partrs to play with to make them feel as though they've built the cars themselves. The cars are snap on together, and it does give a one time experience of building your own car. Though given that there are an exact number of parts to only build 2 cars there isnt really that much choice in what you build, but it still gives a good start to the game. Also the connections are rather solid, and feel like they will survive some handling.The controls are ok and typical of any RC car, and the 2 remotes work on different bands so you don’t mix with each other's controls.It is not that easy to get the car to control, but with some guidance you can get it working. In the box you get everything to build and run the two cars, ( except the batteries for the two remotes ), a bunch of cardboard accessories, two charge cables and instructions. The two cars have their own 3.7V Li-ion batteries, you have to supply your own batteries for the two remotes, they take two AAA batteries each. The cars are easy to build, thanks to the comprehensive instructions. The reason i haven't rated this kit very high is the fact everything is plastic and looks very cheap and personally i don't think it's worth the asking price. Other than that the cars work as expected.

I was looking for stocking fillers and stumbled upon this. My grandson loves making things so I thought this would be right up his street. To be honest I like building things too so as he is only 6 I wanted to make this together. It’s way to tricky for a six year old to tackle on his own but he will definitely want to help and I will make sure he does the bulk of it but I will help with the trickier stuff.It’s a racing car at the end once construction is completed and it turns into a remote control car. The controller needs 2 x AA batteries which are not supplied.Highly recommend
