These lights are very nice sturdy not cheap and the brightness is beautiful. You can keep the top part on then you get the direct spotlighting or you could take the top part off and get the whole spot lighting terrific lighting love it

Great Lights for behind TV
Great lights for behind the TV. Nice temperature that doesn't distract from the LED Flat Screen TV. These lights don't get anywhere as hot as the 25 year old halogen light they replaced. The foot switch on the cord is interesting, but I don't think that we will ever use it. The only reason for the 4 stars was I don't particularly like that there is no way to keep the top fastened to the bottom. It would be nice if there was a "twist locking motion" that allowed the bottom and top to click together.

PERFECT night light style in an uplight
Many previous reviews mentioned the top falling off - it does if you just breathe on it, however, we set this up in the corner we wanted it, set the push button where it could easily be reached - LOVE the push button with the foot feature - and it works WONDERFULLY!! Just the perfect amount of light and the fact it comes as a set, when this light dies, we'll just use the other one!

Halogen lighting - get pretty warm
These lights work well, but be sure you understand how hot halogen lights get. We actually stopped using them as we were concerned about possible fire risks.

Unsatisfactory Tech
These GU10 bulbs and the corresponding App stop working properly after a few months; the bulbs constantly fault and or go off line. Yet another product not to purchase. Made with unsatisfactory technology that fails after 1 year of use.
