Nicely detailed
The text to these walks is well detailed, with helpful 'points of interest'. I would have preferred more detailed maps so probably should have gone for a book with fewer walks - doubt I'll manage all 100 of these! but more detailed OS maps.

Walks for all tastes and abilities
By far the best walking book of Dorset. Yes it is 20 years old but I still use it regularly. A map and compass is essential to go with it or use the ViewRanger app to track your progress.

Enjoy Dorset!
This little book has walks for everyone. They range from short - ( 1&1/2m) to long - ( 13m ), so you can gradually work on getting fit if necessary! You should always take a map and compass just in case, since you never know if a footpath has been changed or even closed, since publication.Dorset is a beautiful county with so much to offer that when walking with time on your side, the glorious views just thrill every time.
