NIP+FAB Foundation, Number 05

I bought the foundation darkener as I’ve been in the sun and gotten a nice tan! My regular foundation is fairly expensive and I didn’t want to have to buy another one in another shade so I bought this! I added the mixture to a small amount of foundation and it made it a very strange ashy colour. The brown mixture doesn’t have any tones or anything, it’s brown which turns things grey and ashy. Plus it didn’t mix amazingly so there were some streaks of brown in my foundation still. I have now bought a darker shade of my regular foundation instead!

This has been so handy for helping save money as it actually works! Everyone knows that we tend to be paler in the winter so I have been mixing a little bit of this with my regular foundation and it is perfect. I find it quite awkward to find the correct foundation shade for me due to being paler and with restrictions on testers at the moment it is more harder than ever! But this has helped save quite a few random foundations that I have bought which just weren't quite right the way that they were. Worth the money especially when you think about the cost of different foundations and if you get a shade wrong as a lot don't always look like the colour online! You only need to use a small amount. Bottle was smaller than I expected however I didn't check to see what the size was before ordering. It should last me for a while though so that isn't an issue. It doesn't affect coverage from the foundation either.

I like this a lot having bought IT Cosmetics CC cream and finding even their lightest shade is too dark. It is not cheap so buying this mixer was a shot at trying to alter the colour so that I could use it. It works! Also the Nip Fab is nor too oily or full of silicone like some corrective primers. There are other foundations I have that Ill try with it. It should save a lot of money. I also notice that it brightens up under eyes - good product

A foundation of mine is two shades too dark so I purchased this, to lighten it. I simply added a drop of the light mixer to my foundation and it lightened it perfectly. I then added another drop and the result - the perfect foundation shade. It is incredibly simple to use and although the bottle is slightly small, it will last a very long time. It is a thick consistency and does not alter the quality of the foundation, it just lightens the colour. This is now a staple item in my make-up bag - I love it and would definitely recommend it.

Sick of buying 3 different foundation shades, one for when I'm pale in the winter, another for the summer and another for when I'm wearing tan so I bought the lightener which works a treat so came back and bought the darkener. I can see this working for girls with darker skin tones but it is quite a cool brown so when I mix a drop with my light foundation it turns it slightly grey.

I needed a foundation and was looking for a more affordable product as a temporary option. I was first of all pleased with the shade; it was a perfect match for my skin tone. I will admit that the bottle was MUCH smaller than I had anticipated. However, it does seem to have lasted a long time. The actual product was ok and lasted all day, considering I used very little. It was what I was looking for. However, this foundation has no real special features, it did not add skin glow, nor did it mattify; it was merely a standard coverage foundation that did the job. The bottle was also a bit of low point. It took a while to come out and only after vigorous shaking. In the end, this foundation did not get the full five stars as it was not anything special.

As someonly who is ghostly pale and can never find a light enough shade of makeup, this works like a dream - you only need a couple of drops and it lightens liquid foundation to the right pigment. No more orange chin - ace product.

After using the nip and fab face products and really liking them, to find they do make up aswell I was so happy.. its brilliant. Only downside is the bottle is not very big!
