New ALM Spool Head Assembly Challenge Extreme And Qualcast GP305

Initially was going to give this five stars but after a couple of uses I was unable to remove the yellow bolt to get at the line on the spool rendering it and the strimmer pretty much useless.

Yes it was a direct replacement, but as the original design and construction is poor I was not expecting this to be any better. I was not disappointed in this respect which is probably why most strimmers don't use this type of cartridge. It got me going again but I still have to re-feed the flail when it breaks - which it does quite often, and after a little use the auto feed mechanism gets clogged up. The original performed badly and this is just as good (or bad). A reasinable price but your never going to love using a strimmer which has a cartridge of this design. Reverted to my other old strimmer which works fine as it's a different design.
